Mary's letter is so powerful even today. I think each va style fits its game, but that letter part is much better in the og and it shouldn't be that way, but it is. Also, when James finds Maria in the maze was better executed in the og for sure.
This is a very big reach, but my interpretation of the original is that because James is beginning to forget the real Mary, and his sanity is declining each moment he stays in the town, Mary’s voice is very crooked and robotic. As he progresses through the game, the town starts to remind James of how he euthanizes Mary, so Maria, a “fictional” figure of Mary created by the town, becomes more bitter and angrier. It was only until James experiences Mary’s death that her real voice comes through in the hallway and ending letter. @@turdburglar-d2w You sound like you're about to write us an essay. Save it. Even Ito has said on Twitter that the OG fans drive him crazy with all their theory nonsense. ChiChi was a bad voice actor who had maybe 1 or 2 decent moments in the OG. It's as simple as that.

OG James sounds like the definition of🤓
Loooost?!
I'll say it. I prefer the remake. Grew up with the OG, but the remake did the voices better.
The old sounds are devoid of feelings, and the new sounds are better and have a lot of feelings. This is my opinion
And that was by design, I feel they were directed that way, that's why the letter hits so hard at the end.
It's the opposite.
I prefer the new James voice (Luke Roberts) but I love the og voices too
I prefer the old voices
Cartoon voices
Lol no thanks og voice actors are terrible and i grew up with the original most people just dont understand voice acting those were the cheapest voice actors at ths time they could afford.
The og game is just better, im sorry remake fans.
they are just different in someway, and remake is better in many aspects in my opinion, brother..
@@Ali-ol1kpThanks to the returning Team Silent members..
@@Stigmatix666
yeah🤗☺
James original voice sounds off, it always did
It was supposed to..
@@Stigmatix666 Yeah, the voice sounds weirdly joyful on purpose, and de voice actor seems to be speaking alone, disconnected from the character he is interacting with on purpose
@@b4udelaire What a moronic thing to say
The original is really good and amazing voice acting but the new voices I feel like are more realistic matches the new look on the characters
Cringey!
God the og was so bad
Original voice acting was garbage. Touch grass.
The original voices suck @ss, you should have never made this and used your time more wisely.
