I'm sooooo happy I ran across this video just now! I'm doing a swap soon that a junk journal is one of the main projects, and I've never made a jj before, but I've always wanted to try one (but putting together lots of signatures, and binding pages, intimidates the crap out of me lol). So I really feel that this journal would be a great one to start out with. I'm so excited to start on my valentines junk journal asap. Thank you for this wonderful video 😊
I lost a tiny button on the back of a blouse. Went to my "massive" button collection... It was SO PATHETIC! Where are all these buttons I thought I had?? hahahaha I ended up having to use a star-type spacer I got with beads ages ago. It worked perfectly well. You're giant bowl of buttons made me think of that. I do have some envelopes that I can't really use, this will be perfect for those!! This will be a cute to turn into a gift filled with pictures and birthday/anniversary reminders for a loved one. Maybe even add a pad of paper on the front so people can tear off notes like "Need Milk!" Or a way to share family recipes? Definitely going to have to do this!! Thanks for the inspiration!! :) Looks FANTASTIC!

this is really cute. You mentioned that it wasn't as stable so to watch over filling, a consideration could be duck tape. I have noticed that there is some really cute duck tape out now and it would be a good spine stabilization. Just a thought

I love this , and other types of junk journals because you can use up stash and they are so pretty. My question is what do you use them for, other than putting photos on. You can journal on the white bits added in with the inserts but you can't on all the pretty papers if you use those and not plain tea stained paper. I've always wondered about this. For this reason I always add plenty plain tea stained. Will be interested to hear from others😀.
