Happy 2023 Nina, I hope this year is as wonderful as your new journal. All my creative energy has been used in making cards lately. I made a bee themed card for my boss for a baby shower, two get well cards for fellow employees and a sympathy card for a friend who lost her mother. We are still short three people on my team at work, so I am still working extra hours. Mom is about the same, she is down to 144lbs from over 200, which is fairly normal in late stage Dementia. Hospice got her a new wheel chair that has padding all around her head and straps to keep her upright(she was sliding down constantly) that seem to help when feeding her. I hope some of the chaos has calmed down for you and that you are enjoying your finished house since it is a bit cold for the garden. I am already looking forward to your next video.❤❤

Oh, I didn't realize this would work for pages in a journal. I asked in a different video how you removed your pages to work on them, then replaced them back into the journal. I've never seen this done before. Glad I found this video! Funny, I never noticed the twine on your Daphne Diary journal.

I have just started a new journal as well and the paper bag I use is going to be the cover, so it is going to be a soft journal.I hope it is going to work out well. Well Nina, I never repaired the last one we all made. Once my valentines are done, I’ll jump back in. Thank you for this video -- I was wanting to make my first junk journal but didn't want to use a pokey tool to make all those holes and then thread up and down. I also like to work on pages outside my journal (I use binder rings to make my little journals) so I don't mess up other pages. I can't wait to try this design.
Agreed! I did make 3 journals as gifts by poking and sewing. But my journal is ring bound ( or will be ) because it is a work in progress to document my quilting projects.
