    What I like about Chris's podcast is that he always asks questions from the perspective of an average person in the field. For example, in the podcast with Collins, the guy is talking about chateaus and things you only see on TV, discussing everything from a lofty perspective, it makes sense to have that type of conversation with Chris, but Chris is our representer in front of those guests. Chris Do'es it better.

    A MASSIVE THANK YOU -
    Daniel for this ~2 hours that is worth a hundred times more than everything I have paid others for since I started being an entrepreneur in $ and time to move the needle;
    and Chris for unpacking so succinctly and in a way that makes it relevant. I have been looking for this for a long time, directionally correct but now I found it and honed in.
    Now my GPS is set.
    THIS now is my blueprint that I will create my business with to elevate the vital life force I bring into the world.

    Chris Do is really good cause he helps drill down information to what it takes , emotionally, mentally & practically for an entrepreneur who is used to asking 1,000$ to ask 15,000$ for the same job. As a creative, the struggle has never been the creative work … but everything else.
    Belief, values, positioning, … these things can make or break you and they are usually hard to change if you’re not aware of it.
    Chris brings that awareness … cause he has a worldwide audience of creatives that are truly genuine when talking to him, so he understands us well.
    That’s how I feel when he’s asking Daniel to help JON DOE.

    I work at a place where people are constantly complaining about the shoestring budgets they have to work with, yet the proposals they write are just shopping lists of things they're going to do for a client, nothing about value creation, solving problems, leaving the client better off, nothing, and they wonder why clients are screwing them down on price all the time and will only pay bottom dollar. "You are what you pitch, and you're always pitching". Amen.

    As a filmmaker, I need to mitigate the perception of price that a documentary will cost $100K+ or can be made by my friend on an iPhone for $300. My projects are typically between $8k and $25k and won from cold outreach to a very niche market. Whether I have a waiting list or not, new clients don't know whether they can afford me from the outset before a call, a stage we may not get to. Would a price-bracketed page on the website help or should I put this in the 'expression of interest' form (or whatever I use)?

Smaller clients are like why is this not done on Saturday evening. Everyone would love big retainers, pay all up front but you need to have that value. When you have that status he is pitching the client will bend for whatever.
