Stay away from the current NFT marketplaces. I am not saying that the technology is a scam but the fact that the current marketplaces are infested with rug pullers has turned NFTs into a big scam. True intention of it has been spoilt by rich people looking to make quick bucks and then vanish forever. Moreover it’s an unregulated space, it only emboldens con artists to manipulate the market and hoodwink impressionable people into investing their time and money into a thing that only glitters but has no true value.

Very well explained the concept of decentralization and blockchain via a simple transfer of buying something.
Also the concept of NFT i.e. non-fungible via a personal highlighted book was too well explained.
In my opinion it remains to be seem how individuals and institutions unique identity is established on a blockchain network.. as that would be the basis on how further propagation of blockchain based technology can be employed for various transactions like buying a house, selling CAR, etc.

In terms of technology, there are many good protocols like EOSIO, EVM, Solana, Avalanche, Polkadot.
I believe in the concept of blockchain and how it is going to change the world

A tip for anyone planning buy nft.
Choose collection over scarse because it is easier to valuate the art.(there are people who put an single nft on sale and bid back high amount to make it look more valuable so it's hard to do this with a collection of nft)
Don't buy an piece of collection because it look great, go talk to developer know why they created it why they wanna sell it.
If you have finally choosen an collection, buy cheapest one or most expensive one, because all the newbies either buy cheapest or expensive one so it is easier to sell off.
Special note: please don't spend money or crypto you allocated as investment. Buy from money that you allocated for your wants even if you are making huge amount of money from flipping nfts. Don't hold nft for long-term unless you totally believe in the creator.

As an Artist I strongly am against current system of NFTs because it is used to:
- Ridiculously overprice art.
- Launder black money earned through drugs and crime.
- Gives you rights to nothing.
- Uses fluctuating unstable currency.
- Many of these NFT opportunities are scams.
- Many NFTs are stolen artworks from artists.
- Contributes to climate change through maintaining the cryptocurrency record and crypto-mining.

thats what i was thinking. they might be stolen but the owner will be one. does Blockchain world has has a particular way to find that there is only one type of art and doesnt have many copies of that particular art?

BTC and crypto is off helping to regulate,< rather than pretend it won't ever happen. The big institutions getting in is the catalyst that will launch us into the stratosphere. Most people don't like change but after the change is made they grow used to it and it becomes a non issue usually because their fears never materialize. And benefits they were unaware with before turn out to be far more beneficial. Few if any rug pulls. The projects that initiated the process of regulation have not been ruined, they got involved in setting guidelines and helping the regulators understand the crypto space. I’d get involved more knowing that I have made over 6` btc from day-trade with Ricky Brian in few just a few weeks.

@Ankur, Thanks for explaining the concept of NFT in the easiest possible way, But I have a question. As you explained that scarcity is directly related to the price going up for a product. In case of Blockchain & NFT, we are indirectly making everything an unique item/asset . Then how would we valuate an item/assets price ? Isn't it unique and will this not lead to over paying ? price inflation ?

i) Can I register an NFT against information that belongs to others but I have gathered the info and built a Profile. For example, if I had to create Ankur Warikoo's profile can it be recorded as an NFT on my website?
ii) Who verifies the information and what's the approx TAT on that?
iii) Who defines the cost of the NFT?
