She references heroin in many songs, even "nectar of the Gods" which was written around the same time as this but just officially came out. She has been in the drug game, sold, manufactured and got away from it with her ex Mike. She sings about, she tells a story that you can visually see. She is incredibly the most talented and has experienced every facet of life to tell about it.. I loved your reaction. I just realized the organ is thought of with funerals for some reason.. when u said that, I thought she may have used it bc heroin kills but "maybe she'll change"....

She didn't lose her boyfriend by death to heroin.. Barry was using and she finally broke up with him as it wasn't a healthy relationship. She's sober, so she can't be around addicts, especially someone using heroin.
@@ScottMcGoldrick no she did lose a boyfriend to heroin years ago. That’s why “Bad beginning to my new year” is in the lyrics. He died in January I think, it was before fame found her.
