It must've been in a video titled celebrities impersonating celebrities or something then because even he wasn't sure if they were actually trying to impersonate Katy or just sing her song, and he was specifically looking at videos about celebrities impersonating celebrities.
i was about to comment this, ye, they weren't trying to do a Katy perry voice, maybe it may sound like Perrie is but that's just her normal powerful voice, also singing an artist's song and doing an impression of an artist are two completely different things.

@@heatherfitzwater8901 it's been a while since I've watched the video but I think it was something like Britney having a naturally low voice and that they have sped up her voice on the recordings to get the sound that we all know. That also explains why she has done a lot of lip syncing live.

The ones I've been most impressed by so far are Alicia Keys doing Janis Joplin (on the same show as Adele, except it's a lot better of an impression) and very surprisingly Jimmy Fallon doing Jim Morrison, which was almost identical (and The Doors are one of my favourite bands so that's a lot to say). It happens in French too. It's so obnoxious. That trend is overused and dull, and I like to complain about the things I notice. I notice many things and my sense of humor in this comment probably was overlooked because I have a strange sense of humor.
“The Little Mix one wasn’t an impression..” I think we heard y’all the first time. For you to be fans of Joel, some of you come off as mean to him. Every time Joel posts a video, y’all take it upon yourself to make a snarky smart ass comment, then make it the top one. For example, someone can say he did a good job on this video, and it’ll barely get a few thumbs up.. however if he makes a mistake, and y’all correct him, it’s gets over a hundred thumbs up. Joel doesn’t have to make these videos for us. He doesn’t have to make daily videos. He can make one or two a week, but he chooses not to. Be encouraging and not discouraging.
