Sorry, to divert from the message of the video but do you need a translator for subtitles and closed captions cause I noticed that you don't have that option I am an experienced content writer. However, very informative video.
Thank you
I dont know why you guys do not add subtitles :(
Bro our politicians already took proactive risk management measures ... All of their property and families are safe overseas in the most developed countries .... it is the stupid common man who failed to manage the risk ... Please don't blame politicians for everthing.
Who is to tell the common people where the risk is? Who is to make the laws and to educate the people? Obviously it's the responsibility of the government...

Very nice and informative video, this is the type of content that we people need, so that we educate our opinions
Drainage deptts must work overtime.
No construction near waterways and historical waterways.
When 40 percent of the budget goes to service loans, 40 percent to the military, 10 percent to fund the government....and 1 percent to education, you are creating a country of ghulams to go work in the Gulf....not developing great minds to think through complex issues and solutions.
Very informative.
Very well explained. well done TCM
These people should head the climate change ministry.....
This was very informative. Pakistan needs people like him. 👍
Greatly delivered.
A much needed video
Sir very good I am.so impress
Lahore has stored rain water in large under ground storage.
Outstanding
Disaster recovery is the least phase of disaster management we give any attention to. Recovery is very impt to building resilience.
such comprehensive and informative information.. keep it up
You need dams with water circulation schemes similar to Europe and green belts.
Well said, my friend.
I love your videos, but kindly video m captions lazmi lagaye. It help us in making our notes. Thanks
No Pakistani PM was able to complete 5 years standard tenure since last 74 years. How would they focus on these larger issues when they need to handle political engineering 24/7 after coming into office ?
Amazing flood management video. In Pakistan we must map and model(through software) the flood zones so there is no construction in flood zone areas. There is a dire need to work on flood water free flowing wasteland to be open filled with trees & plants free from any construction, so during flood season the water can stay in those flood zones & wouldn't cause any loss of human life. Water should be filtered and drained in every area of village & cities to recharge ground water levels. Canals should be made both sides all along the roads highways and farmlands with trees along side to drain off stagnant water from the road/ farms & flatlands. Highrise buildings shouldn't be constructed on hillside and mountain areas due to landslides during floods and earthquake disaster hazards. Low lying areas should be allocated for parks and the lowest point to be that parks natural lakes filled with rain water during flood seasons. Higher ground natural flat lands should be allocated on maps & be used for house/society/village construction.
Great 👍
Instead of this crucial, comprehensive, research based report, Government would not do anything accordingly.
There is a need to get benefit from this report.
Allah reham kare
Hilly areas mein flood k sath landslide kafi hota ha. Unke prevention sirt trees grow ker k hosakte ha.
Can the sound editor for these tcm original videos please for God's sake sort the voume out on the videos. These videos have such an important message yet are almost unwatchable due to the high volume of the music making it difficult to hear the speaker.

Even India have National disaster Force why Pakistan don't have any disaster Force who help people on natural calamities
India had a visionary Nehru as the first PM of India .. Pak had Ayyub khan..🤦♂️
Pakistan NDMA National Disastor Management Athority but the need of time is Pakistan should focus on Internal Socio Economic Development instead of Geo- Politics with India and Internal Politics issues .

Because paxtan is islamic uma country 😀
bcoz india is more richer than pakistan!
such services require communal funding, and to raise this funding you need a functioning private economy. the scale of the investment required is beyond what the Pakistani economy can support. this is chronic mismanagement from the government, and a lack of effort on the part of the private sector over the course of decades, and would require corrective action over decades to fix. unfortunately the Pakistani political system is focused on short term populism and the private sector is not entrepreneurial enough.
i request to tcm management make subtitle in videos.plz
Needs to make a cluster of dams, plus long-term planning, build a much better aggregation system of water, Have to get minimum data of 15 years, examine that data, and accordingly act with plan and execution. Work in 3 shifts day & night 365 DAYS. Build infrastructure which can save water for generations! If all the extreme measures have been taken since 2010, damage should be reduced to 75%. Now you people need to decide to stay like this or start working. Talk time is over, Pakistan, and get started standing on your feet. This issue can be fixed if YOU People act now or never. Also, develop disaster recovery management and let them test time by time around the country.
Informative
We don’t wana know what we don’t have,we all already know,we want solutions and framework,we want maps that is tsunami/flood prone areas, don’t tell us all this, tell us solutions for now and for future if it won’t happen again,if not this tcm is just waste of time,we all very sad here,so don’t make us more sad by telling us what we don’t have, time to act now,pls give assurance and plans
is there any article related to your video
The given solution to combat floods seems impracticable; it is not possible to build basements under already built houses. But if it is possible then it would be costly and there is not guarantee that it would able to tackle floods.
yar what is with the low volume🙄🙄 high quality videos but cannot understand while working because volume is very low
Political leaders are too busy with fighting and care about their needs first.
Great

Pehle hamare defense budget poora hojai , Dha ban jain or overseas properties ban jai phir dekhen ge k mulk ko sahi krna he k nahi.
Hamary pass sub Kuch hai. Collaboration nhi hai.
This is needed awareness but educating pwople won't work. Unless politicians are curtailed by common man and they are made to think for pwople Pakistan will remain same for next 75 years also.
NGOs ... where are they ??? ngos and media ... ??
Obai obhai flood means dihadi, dihadian lgg rhi hai.
No flood no dihadi
No polio no dihadi.
Dihadi pehle mulk jae flood mein.
Musharaf lined canals and this created biggest disaster. It ruined aquafer of Punjab

Bhai masla ye ha ke ap ye baatain kisko bata rahe hen? Beshak buhot kam ki information ha, mgr kin ko?
Hamari awam ma kitne log hen jo water scientist hen, ya even scientist bhi he? Government ko to chor hi dijiye.
Es type ki videos srf aur srf dil jalatin hen bhai. Insan bus haye hi krta ha.
Aap jaise common logon ka bhi aware hona jaruri h.
Sir, with all due respect you have no idea what you are talking about.
I come from the North. For us usually may June are flooding seasons. Because the glaciers melt so it floods the river.
These rivers they don't have banks and they change there direction every year. If this year its going at a point A, the next season it might be going at point B which might be 100-200meters away from from point A.
But I agree with you on points that you mentioned. Like we don't have proper management.
Unfortunately, we are too busy with politics. And all of our politicians are crap, including us!.
Our country needs a complete overhaul.
Maybe you didn’t listen the point where I said no construction around 100-200 meters in EU and 150-200 in kpk. And that’s the reason why we should not. River isn’t changing its direction it’s just claiming it’s land around 200 meters
@@MuhammadAbdullah-gl3en that's exactly why I am saying what I said..
In my own village, houses that were more than 2-3 decades old got destroyed in the last 10 years.
And they were Atleast 500meter to 1km away from the river (back then)..
In my orignal comment where I mentioned point a and point b was an example.
And BTW army tried to make banks using stones with cage many times but guess what, after some years the river will be flowing behind these banks because it changed its direction.
@@decaf8126 For Indus River the safest distance is 6.5kms. So 1KM is normal and if you’re sitting in the bed you’re gone. Moreover, river does change its direction and for that flood modelling is needed to predict before hand for next 100 years at least
@@MuhammadAbdullah-gl3en well if you want to be specific, I am talking about Kurram River, which is nothing compared to the mighty indus River.
River does not changes it direction? Lol OK.
Tell that to the guys who were living or whose farms were quite far from river and now its under the river.
BTW am not talking about these floods. These are super floods..
Am talking about the usual may June floods that happens because the snow melts...
@@decaf8126 Man! It does and for that you take data of last 50 years, put it in the model, validate, calibrate, train and get results for next 100 years. You’ll know before hand how often and to which extent will it changes direction. Hopefully, you understand now
