Because, of all the Ridley Themes, this one hits so hard i ok the warning of loud music on my headset. Plus...gonna sound weird but...reminds me of my fear...Meteoid Fusion getting scar3d cause i hadnt learned of who Ridley was yet. Then i knew...
Imagine in a metroid game where you're exploding the core of a large station of some kind, and you as Samus are flying through a tunnel to escape the slowly building explosion rushing through after you. While at the same time, you have to fight off Ridley who is relentlessly chasing you through the tunnel as well, and this music kicks in. (Think of how Meta Ridley chased you in Smash Brawl, but a bit more intense of a situation than that)
Absolutely PERFECT remix, this captures the essence of fighting Ridley perfectly the heavy hits and high octane sound sound like it could come from the actual games themselves!
First of all, I agree 100% about "Captures the essence of Fighting Ridley" and I also think that you could put this in the Doom Eternal soundtrack and no one would really notice but enough of me talking, @thrashmash you did an absolutely Outstanding job. Congrats!

It takes place before dread, and by playing it you will gain an appreciation and understanding to the events that lead to dread. Fusion was my first metroid game. It was the game that developed my love for metroid and the horror genre. I know to some people fusion isn't scary, but it was to an 8 year old me. Sorry for this super long comment. It just makes me excited to see new metroid fans. Anyway, I'm glad you liked my remix :)

I could just get a ds and play the game on that, i've know about metroid prime for a long time, i always wanted it! I grew up with my gamecube, i got it when i was 4 years old with mario kart double dash. It was 2006 i believe ^^ Sadly my little brother broke my gamecube in someways, i lost interest and sold it for like 50$ I also didn't have any games left, i sold them a few years before my gamecube got messed up. I was a stupid 10 year old who just got a wii haha. Sorry for going off subject! As i was saying, i do know about metroid prime, it looked awesome! I hope the prime series comes to switch, but considering nintendo likes to rip people off with shitty emulations on their console, i'm unsure if it's gonna be ported over well! When I don't feel like working out, this is the go-to song to get me up.
