Is Real Madrid's Eden Hazard really a lazy player? | La Liga

  • ESPN FC's Frank Leboeuf, Craig Burley, Steve Nicol and Alejandro Moreno react to former teammate John Obi Mikel calling Real Madrid's Eden Hazard, "the laziest player he's played alongside." Nicol and Burley say Hazard's poor training regimen isn't a problem because he's one of the best players on the pitch in most games he plays. Moreno contends that showing up to Real Madrid out of shape after his move from Chelsea was a bad look that left Hazard open to criticism.

    It is not practice that makes you perfect, it is perfect practice that makes perfect. A lot of people just put in the work just for the sake of it. If you practiced 1000 shots at goal each day but with bad technique, all that you are gonna get good at is how bad you are at taking shots or missing. I am sure you can mention some players like that in top tier leagues. Hazard perfects some techniques that some players simply cannot do and that tells you about his kind of practice. Yeah he has an immerse talent but the ability to use it in situations that defining is what makes him a top player he is.

    People don't get it. Ofcourse Hazard works hard and so does Messi and all "gifted" players. Calling them "gifted" and other players hard workers is not fair. No one is born gifted to play football. Gifted players are gifted because they worked hard with lots of passion and dedication when they were kids to gain those skills, to learn how to manipulate and dribble the ball. Being "gifted" is actually harder than working your a$$ off in training because that "gift" and ability to do magic takes years and years from very early age to develop.

    Messi was also a nightmare under pep in terms of fitness training yet he destroyed on game day . Why is this? Because your best efforts are supposed to be saved for game day , you don’t have unlimited energy . UFC fighters understand this. They never go hard in sparring , that’s for the real thing . Value your energy , save it for what matters.

      @utsavbasu1048 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah u are partially right my friends but I would like to add something up also haters list will start with Barcelona and end with real Madrid
      Barcelona cause eden does magical dribbling which only messi is better still he has a better rate than messi so some fans after the world Cup and nxt epl season hyped hazard that he will destroy laliga and show messi who is the boss so that's one gone
      2nd would be his fault he gained weight and underperformed so from that the huge hate came too
      3rd he was meant to replace ronaldo though he didn't say that himself but the expectations are always high so when u can't live up to it people will hate
      4th he wore no7 of ronaldo jersey where his haters were from real Madrid and ronaldo plastic fans from juve that he can't wear no 7
      5th will be his own Chelsea fans cause he left them and underperforming
      some rotten fans u know
      6th will be as u know hazard is a bit inconsistent so his fans rate him very high above and he is though very talented better than salah etc but recently as his form got down epl teams like Liverpool City etc taunted him that he is bad he can never be better than theirs clubs respective player or what soever so yeah😅😅😅

    He’s always been a lazy player. Never contributed enough goals or assists for his level of talent. I’ve always said that his presence stifled our chelsea team. And we are seeing the fruits of it now. We always seemed to score more goals when he didn’t play. He mostly only gave us a chance in difficult games. But if I were his coach I wouldn’t play him in easier games because opposition plans for him. And we also center our game around him so that 5-10 goals a season players couldn’t even get that chance.
