@@tr1ksh0t88 I don't think that's true, definitely not 240Hz (I can imagine 1000Hz or 4000Hz tho), Akko keyboards use 1000Hz in wired mode for a very, very long time now.
Love the sound profile on this one :D almost like Ceramic. Very beautiful design, im glad they went with a muted accent color for the aluminum dragon details or it could have turned out tacky. Really cool Keeb, and shipping with magnetic switches is neat too ^^ Thanks for showing
I've been in love with Akko for a while now. I can't wait for the Mod007 V3. I appreciate Akko for its great quality, and good value for money. Besides, it's the only keyboard that allows for 5-pin switches.
@@Byzaker Usually when manufacturers want more things to include, some of the functions can't function at their full potential. That 'hybrid' PCB (that was working with magnetic or 3-pin mechanical) switches was a bit slower due to the extra work it had to process.
Tough question! Both are very good in regards to latency and build quality too. Rainy might be a fair bit cheaper though - if you're not into the custom actuation or Rapid Trigger settings that come with the Magnetic/HE keyboards, I think it's better to go with a standard mechanical keyboard. That way you have access to much more switch options, etc. if you decide modding it.
is there a difference in the akko mod007 he versions or is it just the designs that are different? i saw 3 other designs and they are priced differently too but have the same akko yellow cream he switches
There are a few differences, yes! This 'Year of the Dragon' version and the DIY kit of the 'MOD007B HE' are made of aluminium, the other are made of plastic. But only the 'MOD007B HE DIY kit' and the '7th Anniversary MOD007 PC' support not only HE switches, but 3-pin mechanical switches as well (let's call them hybrid for now). All the others (like the Dragon and the World Tour series) support only HE switches. It's not easy to follow, the names are so similar... TwT
@@thoccnology yes it is quite confusing because the names don't have a distinct identifier and is just hard to understand @_@ the year of the dragon version i believe is the only one with 8k polling hz feature, which is why it's priced at around 180 usd?
@@dimplewhiskers4847 Totally agree! (I just replied to your other comment, sorry, I got a bit behind with answering the comments). As far as I know, it is the only one with 8k - but to be honest, polling rate has not much to do with the overall latency. At least in this latency range 1k, 4k is more than enough (the bottleneck is not the polling rate, but the PCB itself)

Akko's Tokyo editions are so freaking cute! The 3068B Tokyo World Tour was among my first loves when joining this hobby. Oh, that's good to know - my fingers can't process such tiny differences unfortunately. Have you experimented with re-calibrating the keys, if it solves this issue?

Is there any difference to the 3061S HE World Tour Tokyo beside the 3061S HE being a 60% keyboard?
I think that comes with the Sakura switches, not the Cream Yellows like this one
People say it scratches easily, especially its aluminum base. Is it true?
I've bumped into it several times with my nails, switch puller and once with my tweezers. No damages so far.
Hi I wanna ask will I get banned in fps games for using this keyboard’s function like rapid trigger?
Wow! Such a nice video thanks for going into details for all the specs.
Thank you so much for your comment!
Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice. I actually like the copper plate sound. Kinda reminds me of giant lego bricks or something.
I can totally 'see' the lego bricks sound! :)

Can I mount TX screw stabs on this model?
Thank you very much.
Yes, the PCB has screw-in hole preparations!

okay this looks so cool I might get this for my mother, she's a dragon for the Chinese counting system and this is so nice

Can you do a review on the VGN N75 Pro? I'm wondering what latency and build it has and how it will sound with a little modding.
Unfortunately I don't have access to VGN keyboards in my region (only a single, overpriced listing on AliE). But I'll try to find a way to get one!
Akko mod 7th anniversary!?? :D
