A tour of the mirror-like Hornsea Mere 12th June 2024

Some drone pilots are a bit obsessed with mirrors and reflections.
I'm not one of them. Honest.
This is one complete flight I made on my way home. Again.

Half a century ago I hired a rowing boat and took my two sons on Hornsea Mere. I bought some Hornsea Pottery, and we spent the night there, B&B.

I did rowing as a class at Hornsea secondary school.
I found out that you could walk from Swan Island to the shore. 😅

@@timothystravels8492Same at Hickling Broard, Norfolk. Only about 4' deep, except for the dredged channel. I used to sail my small dinghy, Vikki, there.
