Good looking car I like the detail of the thin coach line it really sets off the Nova body line, I will try to replicate that on my Maisto Nova. Great review all the Best my friend.
Thanks again Dave.I didn't mention it in my video, but it is kinda funny. My brother-in-law was really wanting a Nova. So we went to a car show and he found this one. The car show was in February. In june of that same year Sam's Club got numerous ones in in various colors. He was alittle P.O.ed :)
@@tmdiecastreviews4437 Well the good news is if he had got the Nova from Sam's club I assume it would have been a Maisto Nova. Looking at the one you reviewed I would say it has the edge over the Maisto so tell your brother in law he got the better one of the two ☺
Yeah it would have been a Maisto. And he would have been happy with it. But until the following June they didn't have any. But yeah he did get a great Nova anyway.
The Ertl Novas as well as many of they other models would have benefited having realistic opening doors like the Maisto line. Many rag on the Maisto brand but honestly they’re line of cars have some very good detail characteristics of realism that some of the more expensive lines should have but do not.
Oh thank you so much for being so observant as well. I couldn't agree more. The diecast snobs that talk crap about maisto hate hearing that. Mainly because they spent a lot of their money on certain brands of models only to find out that they could've gotten the same details in something that cost 1/3 of what they paid for. And that is one of the biggest reasons why I started my channel. Thanks so much for watching!!😃

I'm hoping to find a 1959 Ford Galaxie 500 in diecast. 1/18 or 1/24, I don't care, as long as its in a 'larger' scale. I would be happy with a quality level as we see in this Chevy Ertl.
