Also, look closely all Sigma lines: he maybe wasn't as innocent before the accident (the most gripping example, after killing Winston, he proclaims "like father, like son"... the implications are there : P).

But Sigma just like Sombra both have their villainous side being in talon it’s kinda required. But Sigma might go the further route due to his condition which seems to be manipulated by the others to keep him in check. Sombras mortality comes into play here because he represents what she strives to protect. The helpless and the ones being taken advantage of by big corporations. Sigma is unaware and for him to get better and have any sort of redemption he would have to be taken out of that toxic environment. And the voice lines hint that Sombra is trying to help him just like she did with Bap as he’s still worth saving. In contrast to her other team members Widow and Reaper who seem too far gone for her to feel any sort of compassion or careness for them.

She’s always been Neutral or more like an Anti hero at times. She’s with Talon because they help her and give her the resources she needs to do what she does best collect intel on everything and everyone. No one is safe from her including Talon as we saw in her cinematic. But she also uses her position to help out the less fortunate and those she sees as worth saving like Bap and now Sigma.
It could be from when he taught him seeing as he had to have a lot of patience with a newfound rebellious genji. Or it could just be him having a comeback at Sombra,being disappointed in her train of thought towards him and similar omnics.
It’s honestly heartwarming how protective of Sigma Sombra is.
