"A touch of obsession"? C'mon Tony, we're all obsessed with our gear!! LOL! I must agree with the combination of materials, as the wooden sides and back should respond well to the low end and the stiffness of the carbon fiber top, should resonate well with the high end.
😂 lol! Link says " cant ship to Canada ". Tony's in Canada. Sounds good and the price is really reasonable. If i needed another acoustic i would consider this one. Thanks Tony!
This one is a pass for me. I live in East Texas and humidity is a real issue for my guitars. I was thinking a carbon fibre might be the ticket but if the neck is still wood then there is no point. and it's fugly.
If you're in the market for a carbon fibre guitar, save up some bucks and get the whole thing in carbon fibre. Seems kinda pointless if the neck isn't carbon fibre.
Actually you may not like a completely carbon fibre guitar in both feel and tone. I’ve tried both and I’ve gotta say the hybrid wins it hands down for me.
I like it. Im 60 and there are some nice modern innovations these days. I might just get one
Ha I took mine and put a pickup into it a passive transducer on the top. sounds great so don't delay.

Sounds different 👍 good tone!

Can I install a pickup to make this an electric guitar?

If it helps apparently the type of wood it uses, African mahogany, is known for being quite weather resistant
Trying to understand what the point of this guitar is. Usually the advantage is if the entire guitar is carbon fiber, correct?
Not really, total carbon fiber guitars often sound quite different. The hybrid design makes it less obvious.
