Some of those older comments are insane. You can clearly tell this guy is planning through turns and able to strategize/recognize lethal/figure out chump blocking in a pinch. He's picking this up with 0 prior knowledge or reading/watching about the game. I've seen new players who don't even intuit that they attack first.

One of my personal favorite combinations early on, was Porcupine and Adder. Touch of death to kill cards instantly, and thorns to do, 1 damage. Heres the thing, upon combining the two together, if something strikes it, it returns 1 damage, touch of death then activates to instantly kill the aggressor, paired with some health buffs...

When inscryption came out, I decided to try it after watching gameplay. It’s honestly one of my favorite games even though I had never played many card games. I genuinely find the simplicity with the mechanics to help be really easy to get invested in it. I’d usually see long descriptions for cards in like Magic or something which just made me disinterested. So when Inscryption had just general rules to sigils and sacrificing cards it felt so unique and I loved it

I Love this game and this playthrough, but him at first not seeing the safe code in the rule book, putting damage up on a one hit snake etc. made me crack up. Love this

Another thing I'd like to mention, I know people talked about the burning the snake worm on the fire and "Touch of death" creatures to get free upgrades, but there's other little unmentioned benefits from some of the other areas you can visit. Going to get more items when you're full gives a Pack-rat card instead, it's a 2-2, with a 2 cost and upon being played, gives a random item each battle if you have room for one. Whenever you get into "Kaycee's mod" some of the cards work a little differently, the beaver card with the dam builder sigil makes two dams to either side of it, in Kaycees, the dams get whatever sigils are given to it, paired with the pack rat would give you 3 items every single battle, and that's just two of the dozens of card options going on here, it gets WILD!
