Hi there! There have been a lot of life changes for me in the past few months, and with these changes have come love, grief, confusion, vulnerability, learning, anxiety, and more. I am so grateful for these life changes, regardless of all of the emotions that have come with them however, as they have brought me a lot of beautiful experiences and new perspectives.
Being diagnosed with ASD, creating a relationship with Douglas, and applying to an MFT master's program has opened up doors for me and closed old ones. Change can be scary, but in the midst of it I have adapted quite well, struggling at points but also healing through others. As winter approaches, I have been reminding myself to focus on gratitude, as well as the beauty and privilege of my life, which has helped to make my more recent struggles feel less overwhelming and big.
