To think, when the trailer for Hawkeye first dropped people were worried Laura wasn't in it. Turns out she's Clint's "guy in the chair!" My guess is Laura is ex-Shield and that's how she and Clint met.
I do like how we see Yelena really didn't want to kill Kate. She put the cord on her when she threw her and used the gun as discouragement but didn't shoot her right away.
- The moment when clint met nat, clint couldnt shoot her so was kate and yelena - Nat's call back was so sad and i got my ptsd and some anciety after watching this episode, I miss natasha so much 😭
I do like that Clint's really leaning into the mentor/father figure position. He's never cared more about her wellbeing than he does right now. It's very touching.
I think that watch belongs to Laura. My guess is she was most likely a spy/agent and worked with Clint. They fell in love and decides to quit so they can be together and it also explains why she seems understanding about what he did as Ronin.
when she spoke German and did all those digging up she has to be in on it too but I don't think the rolex is hers.. I have a hunch on who it belongs to but it can be a spoiler 🙊 2 more weeks til finale 🙌
Nobody knows Nat has a family. Not even Clint, because Nat never consider them as real family until they took down the red room. SHIELD probably knew Nat has a cover up family though but SHIELD was dismantled long ago.
The boomerang arrow line is straight out of the comic except the roles are reversed and Clint actually has a boomerang arrow that he uses to trick someone into thinking he missed and it comes and hits them in the back of the head lol
Hearing the Vormir music motif when he was talking about Nat killed me. We lost two people both times it played, so I don’t think it’ll ever not get me emotional when I hear it
I think Yelena and kate is going to have some chemistry if not in this series then later on. But Yelena would be part of thunderbolts and kate is from young avengers ..... So if they do a movie it will have some of a personal connection
So, when the lady said her bag is embroidered with the name "Bombshell", I Googled it out of curiosity and found this: Bombshell is a notorious mutant criminal who works for organizations such as HYDRA and the faction she is officially a member of which is Kingpin's Gang. She is the mother of Baby Bombshell.
Likes the theories that Laura is former Shield Agent or even Mockingbird. Jeremy is such a great actor when talking about Natasha. More hints at Kingpin coming. Great seeing Yelena back in action!

Okay… this could be the biggest long shot ever, but I’m thinking the watch relates back to WandaVision and the woman in witness protection who played Dottie. That’s literally the only person I could think of that we’ve met who needed to keep their identity a secret, and in the episode where she was introduced, the commercial that played in Wanda’s Hex was an advertisement for a vintage watch “He never goes anywhere without his Strücker”.
I recon the mum is up to something, and that call sparked the black widow hit. The mum ain't as innocent in the dealings of crime. One theory was she took the opportunity in the 2012 attack to get the insurance on Kate dad's life and blame the attack.
Listen to the music when Clint talks about his and Natashas first meeting and the moment when Kate is falling off the roof: it is the same music as in Infinity War and Endgame, when Thanos sacrifices Gamora on Vormir and Natasha sacrifices herself. Simply amazing, like this whole episode!
12:35 The watch is Hawkeye's watch. It tracked him as an Avenger so Tony could know where he was on a battle field. The tracking watch was used pre blip as Hawkeye and post blip as Ronan. Natasha knew where Hawkeye/Ronan was exactly in Avengers Endgame and found him in Japan and was in the exact spot Ronan was. Since that watch has pre blip and post blip information on the whereabouts of the wearer anyone that hacked the watch would know Hawkeye and Ronan are the same person, thus destroying Hawkeye as a hero and connecting him with vicious gang murders

What a great show this ended up being for me....I didn't go into it with a lot, but I really like it... I like how Kate makes mistakes, and doesn't listen... And I really am starting to like Hawkeye more...Renner is good in this...it almost reminds me of Batman in Gotham... Like you said, its Street level , more grounded.. And I like the Natasha angle in it. How he is really messed up over her death and doesn't want Kate to get hurt. And he doesn't want Kate to even choose this life.....its a really good series
By the way, Alice in Borderland is bananas. It's like Squid Game but with more CGI, more of an open world aspect, and the puzzles make you want to solve the them yourself before the characters do.
I can't believe Yelena believed Val. Val didn't provide any proof, so why did Yelena go all in? Black Widows death/sacrifice seems to be known by everyone, if Kate's mom is someone to go by. It's common knowledge. How she died may not be, but why would anyone think Clint killed his partner when he has no history of that? Everyone he's come in contact with in the show has nothing be good things to say to him or good thoughts about him. Val and now Yelena see things differently. I hope this is made clear because this situation doesn't make much sense on the surface.

Thoughts On Hawkeye - Episode 4 Based on the phone conversation between Clint and his wife, Laura - the vintage Rolex belonged to her. It has sentimental value as he carried it with him after The Blip. He lost it in the Avengers Compound rubble after Thanos’ ship bombed it toward the end of “Avengers: Endgame”. They both thought it was destroyed in the aftermath. It has a tracking beacon installed in it as it emitted its location signal. The ladies timepiece must be uniquely connected to Laura as it would out her true identity to whomever she had originally pledged her allegiance. She even has the designated tracking software to independently locate its whereabouts. My theory is that she is an-ex espionage operative; that’s how she knows Natasha Romanoff so well, speaks fluent German and even understood their tactical playbook - such as ‘Catch and Release’. She must have absconded to evade her former employers before seeking asylum through Nick Fury and SHIELD. Early on, Eleanor asked Kate to organize their Bishop Holiday Party. While with the LARPers, she requested them to make 2 costumes of her own design. It means that we will see Kate and Clint dressed up in their comics-accurate purple getup in the next Episode attending her Office Christmas Party. Right after Clint left the Bishop’s penthouse, Eleanor called someone and left a voicemail message: asking him/her to callback as it was urgent. My theory is that the call was meant for Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine @ Val portray by Julia Louis-Dreyfus. The next evening when Kate broke into Maya’s home, Yelena Belova was waiting to ambush Clint on the rooftop as directed by her handler. Predicting that Vincent D’Onofrio’s Wilson Fisk @ Kingpin / Uncle shall make his cameo in Episode 5. As head of New York’s criminal underworld, I believe that Bishop Securities, Sloan Ltd and the Tracksuit Mafia are ultimately answerable to him.
The final 15 minutes of the episode with the reveal of Yelena Belova was really the saving grace of this episode. The investigation side was great and the Larpers for sure are going to help with the new costume which they will dawn in the season finale of Hawkeye.

Well thats all wrong.... Clint never worked for the Kingpin in the MCU. Also there is already a Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird in the Agents of SHIELD tv series. Which may or may not be canon depending on which fan you ask. But still if they go that route they would have to explain that.

Well thats all wrong.... Clint never worked for the Kingpin in the MCU. Also there is already a Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird in the Agents of SHIELD tv series. Which may or may not be canon depending on which fan you ask. But still if they go that route they would have to explain that.
