When Clint started talking about the shot that he didn’t take, and that Endgame music started from that scene…that hit me right in the feels. I’m all for a slower episode when it hits like this.
Laura as some kind of Ex-Shield Agent would make sense. It would explain where she and Clint met and fell in love, why she is so collected about his activities, why he can talk openly with her about this and why she is able to support him in the way we saw here. May be Fury even faked her death when he set them up with their secret home.
@@leojs5673 My thoughts as well. Perhaps Morse is her maiden name, or she just changed it. Though... that's a lot to introduce now, since they already have plenty of loose ends to wrap up.
A less action heavy episode, but a really nice little character one - with moments highlighting Clints guilt and sense of shame almost, and some highlighting kates under experience, which I genuinely like that theyre adressing and pulling her up on while still making her capable enough, makes her feel grounded despite her almost frantic aspirations- her and clints personalities and character arcs are tying in with each other very very nicely.

I know this wouldn't really be accurate if you're the kind of person that sees AoS as canon (which kills me that it's all but ignored by the higher ups even though it was heavily connected to the movies for the most part), but what if Laura was the MCU's Mockingbird? That's who Adrianne Palicki was in AoS, but I know Hawkeye & Mockingbird were a thing in the comics. I could see them "redoing" that character for the main MCU to be who Laura used to go by. IDK, I think it'd be cool
Could also be something similar to the black widow where it was more than one variation of that code name. Laura might have been mockingbird before Bobbie Morse.
Loving this show.. Hawkeye has always been a favorite of mine from the comics and im glad we are finally getting more time with the MCU Hawkeye.. hes a great character and Renner is perfect
This has been my favorite MCU show so far. I loved elements of all of them and I appreciate the huge set ups and world building they provided, but there's something so beautiful about this being a show that's just so full of heart and shows the realistic side of what being a hero can mean and how much you can lose and/ or have to sacrifice. It feels a lot like Daredevil and that's even without the Kingpin element. So I may be biased because Daredevil is my favorite thing Marvel has ever done. It's cool to see the superhero stuff, but it's the human element that always keeps me engaged and this show is full of that.
I was wondering when we were gunna see Yelena in this show, especially after the Black Widow post credit scene. This episode was bit slower / character driven but seeing yelena at the end made it up for me. I wonder if yelena is gunna finf out the real reason Nat died.
Clint having to put frozen bags on his body, plus his hearing loss sort of makes the same point that Daredevil and Punisher did. The superhero/vigilante/action hero lifestyle in real life would take far too much of a toll on the body of an ordinary human. It would be like trying to play football followed up by an MMA match 6 or 7 days a week. Nobody could survive much of that for long
We're still waiting on Clown and The Big Guy. I assume they'll both appear next week, but I'm having trouble seeing how all these characters reach a conclusion in two episodes. I assume Maya's story will continue on into her own show. EDIT: I've been informed that Kazi was The Clown in the comics, so I guess they've just changed him for the MCU lol
I'm thinking clints story ends in this show, while everything else continues in Echo's show. Plus there's a rumor that Kate will make a cameo in Ant Man & The Wasp Quantumania
My thinking is Eleanor called Val, and Val sent Yelena because of that. I’m not sure if Eleanor, or even Val wants Clint dead, I think Eleanor just wants Kate and Clint to be separated, for Kate’s safety, and Val just wants to get the job done (and what better way than to get a Black Widow assassin, especially one that is emotionally motivated). I don’t think Jacques is a typical bad guy. I think he may be trying to bring down the top guy, but I’m his own way as well. Idk, I can’t wait to see all of these lines connect, and conclude! Really liking this series so far! Also, I think your guess about the watch belonging to Laura is a good one! It would explain a few more things about her as well!
I don't think Val would fly across several states to bother Yelena at her sister's grave and lie to her that Clint killed Natasha just because someone wanted him separated from someone else. I agree there's something more than meets the eye about Jack, though.
I initially thought the Rolex was the watch Tony used/houses his nano-suit in, but with Clint’s description of who owned it, I think it is Laura’s watch. How she ties in will be interesting. She can’t be a former Widow since they were able to have children, but she was SOMETHING!!
@@juliocesarg.r.1238 nah marvel has never made a direct statement regarding that so its still a gray area. She is the mother of Baby Bombshell.
Interesting how none of Clint's pov flashbacks involve him dressed as Ronan attacking the tracksuit gang and killing Echo's dad.🤔 Just putting it out there.
I don't think that's Clint Barton that ill-fated night. I believe 'Uncle' Fisk is behind her father's demise. Using an imposter to assume the Ronan identity. This storyline will probably continue in the Disney Plus Echo series.

The Watch must be Tony's, he is pretty much the only one who would wear a Rolex, isn't he? My Guess is the Rolex has dunno something like a "Master Key" in it, for all the technology or something.
Seriously, people, you don't remember Tony Stark had a watch with IronMan tech in it? He used it in Civil War when Bucky attacked him while activated by Zemo. So, if IronMan tech falls into hands that can retro-engineer it..... And there's Armor Wars series coming soon too.
Clint said that the watch is tied to someone's identity, and could put said person in danger. Considering Tony is already dead, I don't think Clint was talking about him. My vote is that the watch is Laura's. Though I did think the watch was Tony's before this episode.
Think about what Avenger was known to wear expensive men's watches... Tony Stark. There were even scenes of him using his watch to summon/create his armor using nanotechnology. If someone got a hold of Tony's watch and figured out how to use it, they could summon/create some or all of the Iron Man armor for themselves. I'm sure that the new Thunderbolts desperately want Iron Man's tech and power on their side, especially if they can use it to help fool the public into thinking that they are heroes.
It could belong to Tony but I don't know why Laura would know about this specific watch and Tony's watch wasn't a Rolex and nor did it resemble a normal watch
