@katta, Each and every MCU has its own CIU and every Utility energy meter serves each house independently. That's what is called Meter separation. Batteries are used during activation of the meter and in case you run out of tokens. Activation codes and procedures of the meter remains the same as long as the model of the meter doesn't change.

Well, sometimes it happens, however, if the batteries are in good condition and the MCU and the CIU can't communicate you need to hire a qualified electrician with experience to check the wiring.

Network problem, Your MCU and CIU can`t communicate. Try using a different CIU from your Neighbour. Pair it and enter the Token. Make sure you're using the socket inside the house Meter is wired with and the socket is ON whether there is power or Not. Once you load your Meter with some Token Your CIU should now connect with MCU through PLC. In case your CIU does not connect and for your Neighbour's connected replace yours. If that doesn't work for both CIU`s Contact a qualified Electrician to use the MCB double pole in the utility meter box and repeat the procedure. Yes, your wiring must be checked and done properly. Bypass error is mostly brought by either the Return wire which is Neutral is linked with a ground wire which is Earth. It can be in CCU which may also affect the consumption of power or any other place in the power circuits inside the premise/s, Neutral and Earth must be Independent in the CCU and all other circuits. NO bro, every meter{MCU} is supposed to be terminated with its own MCB double pole C-63. In other words, all the MCU Must be Terminated Independently. Terminating more than one MCU with one MCB double pole is Overloading the double pole. 2. incase one MCU is faulty it will affect all the others, which is WRONG. 3. During repair or maintenance of a certain MCU/ Load just like we separate Final circuit breakers in the consumer Box, you don`t need to interrupt with other MCUs in the meter Box or Circuits/circuit breakers in the consumer box.
