I love how Rudeus casually asks Fitz if he hasnt heard about the disturb magic spell when he only saw one other person use it and it was the Dragon God.
the reason is quite simple actually, Roxy when he taught Rudy, told him that a variety of races have magics unique to them, and he even learned it firt hand with the howling magic of the beastman, so he thought that disturb magic, being such a useful magic was more common, since Orsted used the minimum of skill needed to mop the floor with them
It actually makes sense, because when you think about the concept of disturb magic, you can understand why Rudeus would think it must be commonplace while in fact virtually no one else even knows about it. A counterspell like disturb magic is only useful if you can cast it silently (and therefore instantly), or with a very short incantation, because you have to be able to cast it faster than whatever spell your opponent is casting that you want to counter. That means that for mages who rely on standard-length incantations (which, we often forget since we're mostly watching Rudeus, is the vast *vast* majority of all mages in this world), just the *concept* of something like disturb magic likely wouldn't occur to them since it would never seem practical. Even the rare mages who can cast silently are still surrounded almost exclusively by mages who require incantations, so they're still largely stuck within that same paradigm. On the other hand, Rudeus has spent basically his whole life casting silently and has always questioned the validity of standard magic "rules" like the requirement for incantations. So since Rudeus has always been thinking outside the box of the normal magical paradigms, the logic of a spell like disturb magic made perfect sense to him once Orsted showed him it was possible. And since the concept and utility of a counterspell like that made so much sense to him, he naturally assumed that plenty of other people must have thought of the idea as well, particularly in the environment of the most prestigious magical university in the world.
Rudeus has a habit of downplaying his achievements and not viewing himself as particularly special (mainly due to this past life), so he never really sees anything he does as exceptional
@@inverse2k1 Yeah, powerscaling in this universe is weird. Rudeus is pretty much the strongest mage in this world at the moment. @@xonxt The powerscaling is weird because you're considering it from a 1v1 duel scenario. A king-class mage can cast a spell that can break an entire army, but it requires time to cast. So basically, until Rudeus made his inventions warriors were the masters of single-target combat, whereas mages ruled long-distance mass-target combat. This plays out a bit different from the WN/LN. The two dueling circles actually had 2-3 magical barriers around them to prevent lethal blows, and the back walls were made of magic resistant bricks. Imagine in an alternative timeline where Rudy accidentally kills Fitz....
Man I'm glad i didn't see tye anime in my mind this was way more awesome
Incantationless magic & elf ears, how did rudeus not recognize her. How foolish lol
Roxy didn't recognize rudas either why because it was was years since they last saw each other
Hair- completely different color
Rudeus underestimates himself thinking silent casting is not as rare as it actually is (we only know of 4 people to do it in the anime so far and they are orsted, rudeus, and 2 people he taught it to)
As other person said it was years since they’ve seen each other
@@ethanfrantz4312+ a magical sunglass that prevents recognition
@@Shigeru0508that's true but then why was she upset he didn't recognize her when she knows the glasses are enchanted?
@@inkoinfinity2 you're asking good questions, I give you an A
Awesome Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Video.
O Rudeus é genial quando quer
what a convenient way to not actually have a duel
Wouldnt have made a difference really Rudeus Power output IS so much higher
@@deathitself6985 boring is what this was during the ED arc.
Fitz is actually not a dude, but has circumstances that forced that situation. Fitz also goes on to be his first wife and have his first child.
If he knew disturb, why didnt he use it against the hydra?
Against what attack? Fire breath? It probably wasn't even "magic" to begin with.
@@nviolet152 what about the barrier or the regeneration? I don't think regen of that speed is considered natural. Especially since mithra is imbued with magic.
@pocketsdsquirrel3207disturb magic is a kind of magic too. The scales barrier negates magic itself.
@@pocketsdsquirrel3207 It's not an actual barrier but the skin of the hydra. This is where the anime kinda misleads things
The scales of The Hydra are magic absorbing stones they arent magic
Watching the anime after you finished the light novel feels so weird
How tf he does not even suspect she is Sylphys? There are not many elves, she has the same wand, and she is the only silent spllcaster he knows.
1. Different hair and glasses.
2. He can't see her burn mark when she's wearing gloves.
3. He's being told that's a different person.
4. It's been 10 years since the last time they saw each other (they were 5 back then)
5. There's no implication there's a lack of elves in this world they just happen to be in the great forest if I remember correctly. He literally came to the school with one.
6. I might need to recheck, but those types of wands are standard for beginner mages, it's not exactly an immediate give away.
7. Silent spellcasting is definitely a good clue, the issue is that he had too much stuff against it to even consider it as such, we saw by his own theory that teaching them young could help them achieve that (just like with Julie), so having a royal guard able to do it doesn't seem extremely weird
0:24 😅😅
Rudy has Sylphy and Roxy. He's right up there with Goku, Luffy, Ichigo, Gon in my eyes.
1:12 😮😮😮
Buen capitulo 🎉❤
0:13 😮😮😮
So anyway, I started blasting...
is his pose a JoJo reference?
imagine being that clueless.
you got soft hands boi soft hands
And here's sword #1
Don't worry Rudeus Fitz will demonstrate those "weapon handling" skills soon...
Rudy my bi king falling in love before knowing it was a woman ✨
If he Fitz then Rudeus fits
how did this man mistake sylphie for a guy twice and not recognize her imidiately the second time?
1. last time he saw her she was 7
2. she has another hair colour
3. she is going with an male alter ego named Fitz
4. she wears a magical sun glass item, that prevents recognition
She wearing rayband sunglasses despite not inventing the periodic tables.
@@Shigeru0508Por que Silfhy tonta, no le dijo a Rudy que era su Amiga de la infancia???
Sabiendo que Rudy la buscaba y tambien buscaba a su familia??
@@RdNapZ She didn't know tho? She says she was afraid he forgot her but she should have asked More info and Rudy would have Said he IS looking for her
La peor decision de rudeus fue ir a la universidad
Why? Because the show slows down? Anyone would go after hearing they can be cured
Dont get me wrong tho i preferred the adventure with Eris much more but this sets up all things going forward. Family is the point of the series
Y’all a little late crunchyroll 😭
Wow, they did Rudy bad with voiceactor pick. He sounds female.
it is female. they pulled a goku. hopefully they get a new one for next season
Although him growing up definitely requires someone else (probably be done next season considering tp4) but idk if I would call this a bad pick, her performance in the latest stages of the season was great
He think he kumagawa
Damn blue players
Sylphie> Roxy
usually it's god>angle
Silfhy fue sobrevalorada
Hola
The ironic thing is: Sylphie's a better swordsman than Rudy.
Me dices mas mentiras?
❤
1 view in 39 seconds? Bros fell off 💀
pesimamente animada y adaptado
I liked it better when Rudeus was a pervert.
You think he isn’t anymore? Lol
He was momentarily tamer because of his depression and erectyle disfunction, although not that much because even in that state Fitz found out he's a pervert (and fully confirmed after the identity reveal)
This anime is a big disappointment how is he going to do his wife like that and she got a baby on the way just not right. I stop watching it
Honestly, the first half of season 1 was cool, but then it went stale this isekai is a real disappointment and sad, and so are Rudious's powers. What a letdown.
Btw Rudeus spamming Stone Cannon pretty much becomes a plot point later as he realizes his lack of skill using his arsenal
What's a disappointment about those 2?
such a dumb anime
Why do people watch something they dont like then comment on it you are just giving IT More popularity
@@deathitself6985 Because this anime is such a disappointment. Started off fun, then they start the ED arc and it gets dumb.
"better late than never" ahh video
