I always wandered why they cut to Nikki when Darius says "There's always someone out there who's a little faster than you are." I guess he was referencing cut content.
I kinda understand why they cut this duel, but man this duel makes the ending more satisfying rather than watch Darius leave and Just straight up teleport to safe house
we could say that this challenge against nikki could be unlocked once both the career mode and the series of challenges are 100% completed edit:Once this is done, we would receive a message from Nikki that would say "you have completed each challenge and you have beaten everyone ... well ... almost everyone"
tbh they clearly cut the duel with nikki out for time constraints and rushing to the deadline but I personally feel like there would be no point in duelling Nikki when we're clearly going to win most of the time, we literally defeated Darius who is the toughest opponent out of everyone in NFS Carbon, Nikki would be easy and player also canonically owns Darius's Audi Le Mans Quattro which outpaces most cars in the game.
You know, if you look at the behind the scenes video, there was a deleted scene after Darius left with Nikki saying "You owe me. You up for it?" Meaning Black Box planned for us to race her, but I guessed they got pressed for time they couldn't do it.
EA and black box had a strick development cycle which is why there was a lot of things that were left answered I have so many questions who ticked off the cops in the prologue ? Why did Darius told the player to leave palmont ? What happened to the Supra ? Who was the cop from the prologue and why did he let the player escape ?
@@aleksandr_elkov I have a theory that makes sense, the prologue is the first thing to happen.Darius gifts you the M3 to cover your escape from Palmont, which means he prolly destroyed your Supra. While the player escapes to Rockport( Most Wanted), Darius takes that stolen money to buy that new Audi and Nikki the GT. Which makes sense cuz in Most Wanted you were driving the M3 in the cutscenes. When you get back, your M3 is totaled which is a deleted scene, and you go through the story mode without it. And side note Carbon and Most Wanted are in the same universe, Cross, the M3, Nevelle mentioning Rockport, etc.
The final World Sprint takes about fifteen minutes. After the final sprint, the final canyon takes place at Lofty Heights Downhill canyon duel, which is a race never used in the original version of NFS Carbon career mode.
The original sound of the Zonda is in the game files, for some odd reason though, it was never used. On the PC version with NFS VLTED or something, the sound can be restored quite easily.
it's just a problem with the widescreen fix mod. mine was acting like that too and i saw that the mod was outdated so i downloaded the new one and it fixed the fix.
The climat of canyon is amazing. In every corner you are afraid of falling off. In newest nfs games we dont feel any emotions imo. (Good emotions not bad)
The PS2 version of Carbon have the Nikki Boss Race! And others things from the mod, It happens If you use the Wrong Warp Glithe in Races that are not in the Carrer Mode
No It didn't? The ps2 version teleports you to a safehouse right after the credits, theres no nikki end race or world sprint lol I've beaten it literally 30 times
JZX STUFF no it's not like that, Just select any Race from San Juan to do Glithe, than Go back to your 100% Carrer and enter any Race that you can use a Crew Member, Go to "Engage and Active Crew Member (or something like that) then pick any Crew Member to Race and after the Loading Screen, the Glithe Will be put into action
@@kacperNFS I tried to do something similar but it does not work, the only way is to do an unlimited time checkpoint. at least not work with a mod member or other character as it is impossible in this game (Kenji, Nikki, etc)

If I installed this mod, I’d pick the Chevy Corvette with Manual gears. Since Nikki has a Ford GT, acceleration is similar to the Lancer. So If I pick Corvette, I’d overtake her just like I would to Kenji.
I have to say this is an amazing mod. But it would’ve been cool to have Nikki text you like “hey I’m challenging you” as obs you can’t create a cutscene

It wouldn't be so boring if it had police turned on. If this race is available as separate race in quick race menu, probably extra options mod would turn on police. I need to check it one day.
This should have been the last race when darius drives away in his jaguar nikki ask the player if he wants to race her and then you race across the map and then when you finish the canyon duel it will show palmont conquered and the end
Actually, there was going to be such a scene, even behind the camera, there is even a scene where Nikki speaks, but unfortunately they removed the beautiful scene.

@@FakeJeep I actually got into playing it again recently, for nostalgia reasons. Quite a few of the city segments feel familiar, as well as the highways. There's even a bridge which is the exact same as the one from Rockport.
