I used to watch this all the time as a kid. I was so young, while my parents fed me I just lay in their lap watching this on the phone. I was only 1 or 2 years old back then, now as I'm watching this again, it brings back so much memories. God I love this

@NovaVerse @User, this wasuploaded at 4k60 in 2014 (or earlier). It's exponentially easy to render when it's not in real time.
Well this video was uploaded 8 years ago so they probably didn't have those AI interpolation software we have now; the movie itself was made in 2008 and more likely that they just re-rendered it in 60fps and then uploaded as is (around the time TH-cam started accepting 60fps vids). If they animated it originally at 24 or 30 fps, they just have to use their built-in time adjustments to change it to 60 and let the program interpolate itself. It's a relatively straight forward process, not difficult but does take more time to render.

When i was a kid, I remember i bought this cd and was so excited to watch it. I used my neighbour’s cd player because we disnt have any. And when i played it, it would always pause at the beginning and never ply again. I didnt even know it was only 10 min, thought it was a whole movie coz i bought it from street. It made me quite sad and now bout to watch this at the comfort of my own bed, in my phone. Sometimes we forget to be grateful. The things we have now, are the things that one day we wished to have. Alhamdolillah.

Me and my little brother used to watch this constantly on this old mp3 player we had, and we even learned the montage music on the piano because it was so fun and catchy. Years later, it came up in conversation, and out of curiosity, I looked up "bumny butterfly animation" and this was the first result. Showed it to my brother today and we laughed hysterically for several minutes. What a throwback.

This is still the only 3D animation I've seen where characters can look natural in both quadruped and biped motion, without any obvious swapping out of models in between shots. Well done.

Great film and the bun bun is so sweet and clever. This is how my bunny Csicsi looked like before, a wild cottontail rabbit is always looking more skinny and has longer limbs (not that long as hares) but Csicsi ate a lot and he couldn't jump or get up really good on the stairs and couldn't even clean himself. I started feeding him hay and water and now he's a sweet handsome little boy, he always binkies and jumps on the couch and loves playing.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Man now is a standard using This video everywhere. I’m glad everyone is using this video because it expose Blender foundation to people that never hear of it and is awesome software. I love blender and I been using blender senses version 2.49 and this new version 2.9 is freaking awesome, it will get even better with each new version.
It's insane how far Blender's come, now it's even moving into professional use and we even have a full feature movie made with it. Just heartwarming to see an open source tool like Blender getting mass industry recognition.

Very well-made and entertaining film! It reminds me of: Over The Hedge. The only thing I didn’t care for, was the fact that none of the creatures ever speaks a word. I hope maybe the creators will one day will continue working on this film, and turn it into something even better!

I remember seeing this short years ago in loops on one of the screens in the museum of technology in Vienna. I can't even tell anymore what exhibition part it even was - like, did they just want to show something about the screen and this movie was just randomly chosen, or maybe it was about showing an animation technology, or something else. At any rate I stuck around at that screen for ten minutes longer than I intended to because I wanted to see the entire bunny film.
this movies still holds up even 6 years later! maybe except the dirt texture which looked a bit flat, but otherwise it looks beautiful
