What I'd love to learn from you is how to read and use a pattern. As a beginner, everything to do with sewing is new for me. Please walk us through from the very beginning from when you print the pdf file, what happens next. Explain all the color lines, how the measurements all come into play when reading the pattern, how to cut out the pattern, how to lay it onto the fabric and cut out the fabric. From A-Z, please take us through the entire journey. Thank you!
Nice simple comfy looking dress. Have some similar fabric that is organic that purchased yrs ago , would work well. This dress reminds me of a book I bought yrs ago call the Willow Plate.
I would love to see a see along for copying a pair of pants that fits great - I have an awesome pair that I can’t find anymore in stores but I’m nervous to try copying them!
Beautiful dress. Thanks so much for sharing the free pattern. I was hoping for a close up shot of the neckline after you stitched it. I never know if you’re supposed to have both needles on the neck band or one on and one off ? 🤔
I'm so geeked to have found you here, I love your videos from E&M and have learned so much from them. Sinclair patterns has 2 newer releases that I would love to see a video for, the Nyoka and the Azalea. Both have tricky elements to them and I would love to see it done in video to make following the pattern easier. Thank you so much!
Hi Deanna, recently found your channel and I love your content. Just one piece of feedback. Please don't speed up (2:44) any part of your videos. I enjoy watching it all and is very informational as well as educational for me, being a new sewist.
Hi love all you do Diana you inspire me to do so much have you tried the Adrienne top that would really suit your style by Friday pattern co such a lovely sew and addictive ❤️
Thank you so much for doing this video!! I just got the Galena pattern this past week after seeing some of your makes on your IG 😁 you are my sewing inspiration
Thank you for sharing. Could you please share the fabric? You have the links for the fabrics site but not the actual fabric. I am new sewing and i just learning the different fabric types - I love the drape and how easy it glides through the machine thank you again.
Thank you! this fabric is pointelle. It's a very light weight knit. I am not sure if the shop still has this specific one but there may be other colors.
Please could you tell us the setting on your sewing machine and serger please. I am fairly new to sewing. Please could you do a super slow sew a long. So us beginners out there can truely follow along with what your doing. That would be super helpful. Thank you so much. New subscriber here❤
I have just printed the pattern. Im a bit confused. I want to make a size 14 with the cuffed sleeves, plain bodice (as in your video) and the dress length skirt. How much fabric do I need? Your video has inspired me to do the binding neckband.I have never done this before 😊 should have said I think It will be a size 6 (UK size 14) How would I decease the bulk of the skirt-I am thinking it would make a nice nighty. Thank you so much for your help
I have a thaught 😬 the opening is so Wide (neckband) so can I use straight stitch ? Is it a small opening i dont use straight stitch but this is a wide one
First off- congrats!!! You will love it!!! Second- the only thing that might be a little challenging in the neckband. Because you have to Topstitch. Totally doable but it might take a little bit of practice! I would practice ok scrap fabric before doing your final draft. Use a knit or ball point needle, stretch fabric and a good stretch stitch (find one you like, I like to use a zigzag stitch) and third- you’ve got this!!! ❤️❤️
I looked for this pattern, I know this video was done awhile back. But I would like to make this 👗 dress! Do you know if it’s still available? Thanks for the great tutorials
IDK if you got your answer, but yes it is. Someone recommended it as a free pattern, and I just found this video looking for a tutorial. If you haven't made it yet, good luck! I hope you have sew much fun!
that is a dress for a little girl? It looks large. Honestly you are going way to fast to follow and the camera is not close to see any detail as to what you are doing. were you in a hurry? but watched another video and you were just as fast. darn you are way to fast slow it darn if you really to teach. I give up good by, you do fly bye

I recently found your videos and love them! You're so helpful and just fun to watch. I love more serger & coverstitch tips and tricks!
Yay! Thank you!
So love this dress. As for something I’d like to see… can you do a video on how to do like… difficult fabric? Ity or maybe even mesh or lace?
oh those fabrics ARE harder to work with 😬 when working with those, basting would be your best friend! thanks for the suggestion!!
Hi love all you do Diana you inspire me to do so much have you tried the Adrienne top that would really suit your style by Friday pattern co such a lovely sew and addictive ❤️
I have not, I will need to look into it!!

I was hoping you would make a video for this pattern 😁 i was looking at the pattern and my first though was, hmmm i want a video from Diana 😁
Hope you like it!
Can you please do some stretch knit long and short sleeve cardigan please love your fabric
Yes, I'll have to do that! cardigans are a great staple piece!!
Hi loving your vids 👍
there exelent. .😉
But i cant find the pattern ..😢

How would I decease the bulk of the skirt-I am thinking it would make a nice nighty. Thank you so much for your help
To decrease bulk I would narrow the sides of the skirt as I cut it out. Don’t narrow the waist because it fits right on.
I have a thaught 😬 the opening is so Wide (neckband) so can I use straight stitch ? Is it a small opening i dont use straight stitch but this is a wide one
A link for the cover stitch machine please.

how do you end your serging at the end of the circle so you aren't cutting off your old stitches?
I just run over a couple and turn out. its ok if you run over a couple before stoping
What iron do you have?
I have a Beach Hamilton streamathon from Walmart. I don’t like to invest in irons because I drop them and break them constantly 🤦🏻♀️
I’m new to sewing, like my machine is just coming out the box new, do you think this is something I could do?
First off- congrats!!! You will love it!!! Second- the only thing that might be a little challenging in the neckband. Because you have to Topstitch. Is there a link to the pattern
I added the link to the info box. I should have done that earlier 🤦🏻♀️
I can not print the pattern unless I sign up for adobe

I’m sure you have it by now, but I just got it for free today! Can’t wait to make it up.
The neck line is so wide that it doesn’t stretch when you put the dress on so you can get away with using a straight stitch.
