These D60LFRs hold a special place in my heart, from always riding them on the 43 as a kid, I hope one of them gets used as a static model, or just abandoned, so it survives. Well sadly, there isn't that much hope for them :(
yes :) I have plans to do that, as the C40LFR is my most favorite bus. however, C40LFRs do not start retirement until late next year due to a part shortage, so don't expect anything from me for a while relating the C40LFR's.
@@JosephLikesTransit yes I know, this is because the engine and transmission had serious problems that caused repairs to cost 100 grand, and it was deemed, not worth the cost.

UPDATE: 8109 and 8112 have been sent off to VTC, meaning they are retired.

I blame the Junkcelsiors for that. Those busses sound terrible. The older new flyers were King.
