Sincerely think that the voices need to be remasterized in order to this piece could be remixed, otherwise it sound very awkward in my humble opinion. I don't know what process was used on the song that it make it sound as listened in a kind of altered state of mind.

Love listening to the remix, it's great but the Ed Sullivan footage of the Mamas and the Papas isn't lip-synched at all and ruins the overall concept.
