- Stony Lonesome broke my RZR again. Its been a little while but it definitely got me. You can push the limits as far as you want on these trails. Off-road at its best.

We run a 1/2 in UHMW skid plate from slick rock skid plates on ours and it's been through a lot. Multiple trips to windrock/top trails/indian mtn ect. Not showing any signs of giving up soon.

@@GrimRZR HDPE 1/2 won't wear down but it is heavier, I use it except on my Pro R, no one makes any yet.

I have the 1/2" thick skid plate from Super ATV. Cheaper than a lot of them. I'm very happy with it so far.

Who did you get your body wrap from? I'll be following to see what skid you choose. I'm leaning towards S-ATV for the fact we love the parts we've got from them so far and they have excellent customer service.

Thank you. A guy named Barrett Hepburn did the wrap. He worked with me for a few weeks getting the design just right and then I was able to install it.
21 xp 1000 4 seater. I built mine out of a 10' sheet of 1/2" hdpe comes the perfect width. Been beating up on it for 2 years no regrets ,no damage And 1/3 the price of manufacturers. Fairly simple to make. All I used were a router and a drill.

Ive had a tusk 1/2 on the 800 for over a year and beat on it considering ive been running 26in horns i scrub everything lol. Whatever you get a 1/2 is way stronger

There is a guy in Tennessee I think it’s called “slickrock skid plates” that’s sells them if you wanna save some money to drive and get it.1/2 thick full skid plate comes with all hardware was $300 I believe for my 2 seater turbo s

Slickrock skids in Tennessee look the guy up on Facebook! Cheapest full skid plates lifetime warranty with hardware. They will take a beating.

I got a skid plate from Ricochet Off-road. A little pricey but you will not be disappointed or drilling a bunch of holes to mount it. It uses clamps that go around frame. Very easy install on my 2 seater Polaris Highlifter. Did install on my own.

1/2 inch uhmw from Slickrok skid plates. Near Knoxville, have them on my two seater and one on my wifes four seater, very strong skid plate.

agree with slickrok. I have one on my xp4 and can't complain. Dropped it off with him and went to eat lunch. He cut it on his CNC router and installed it while I was gone. Install fee was $100. Total was around $500. Came back from lunch and it was done.
Do you think the rs1 diff for RZR is as good as the halo 30 for can am? Which is stronger? Just your opinion. Enjoy your stuff. Thanks.
I don't have much experience with the halo. For the price I would hope a halo is stronger but I've never had a CanAm
I'm actually about to try a hillkiller RS1 diff from Coughman. Supposed to be a much stronger ring gear setup

Skid plate: Tusk brand from Rocky Mountain ATV. Great price and has worked well for me. Surprised the stock one lasted as long as it has, lol.

@@GrimRZR LOL! Well, still amazed it lasted as long as it did as the terrain you ride seems like it would be pretty hard on the undercarriage. The nice thing about the Tusk one is that it comes in two thicknesses. Good luck!! Keep the content coming!

Can’t believe the Beatin y’all give your machines that a skid plate is not one of your first mods. 1/2” UHMV or whatever you call that plastic stuff here. My only complaint is the cost

Got the Superatv skid plate on my 2020 rzr 4 Highlifter. Only complaint so far is I’ve already lost 3-4 sheet metal screws and the washer that goes on them and I mainly trail/mudride.
First I've heard about it losing bolts
Hit up Brandon mccloud on Facebook for the skid I was going to get one from him but I'm not local. He makes them at home cheaper than any of the other brands. Local pickup in Tennessee.

I have the SSS off-road skid on my Turbo S4. It is some coin and a little bit of time with a drill but the dit is good and well made. The 2 piece is basically the same as the one piece just cheaper to ship.

Common issue. Sometimes with a big group the first person underestimates how much space will be needed.

It's getting replaced. Haven't opened it up yet. Just put in a new one so I didn't miss any rides
@Grim RZR copy that...wish I could get further south ..Im usually in Tennessee when we ride..but like to catch up with yall sometime this season. We have a good sized group with a variety of machines. Idk..im gonna try this year . Thank you for the reply keep up the awesome videos

As long as they don't park and clog the trail. That's the biggest problem I see in the off road community.

Heard lots of good with them. What's bad
Couple of the holes didn’t line up. Didn’t come with all the hardware. It made one ride and ripped both bolts off the back and they wouldn’t warranty it for me. That’s after the shipped me the skipped plate. So they made me pay for it or send it back and pay for shipping. If I could it over I would go with UtV one.
