In my Catholic country, people would think you are totally crazy for dating a Muslim, because there actually are quite a few true horror stories regarding our women getting married to Muslims (being forced to convert to Islam, taking kids away, etc.), so I can understand the hesitation :/ I wouldn't be so rude with him though, not to mention that going out is not the same as getting married :D P.S. The problem isn’t that she rejected the dude for being Muslim, especially given that the average Muslim would never even consider getting into a serious relationship with a non-Muslim unless they’re willing to convert. I think the issue was the way she went about it, I agree that she was rude.
As an atheist myself, I personally wouldn’t go for a Muslim because our values would be too different. Not to mention I’ve seen those horror stories of forced conversion and nasty custody battles within the Muslims in my family, so my impression is that most Muslims are better off marrying and having kids with their own kind.

I don't understand why it is so unforgivable to refuse to date someone based on their religion. It makes perfect sense to me. Race is beyond your control, but you decide your own religion. You decide whether a religion is worth believing and whether that god with worth worshiping. If you decide to follow a religion that is nonsensical, irrational, and that worships a tyrant, then it speaks a lot about your character. It is perfectly reasonable to not date someone based on their religion.

I would surrender if I were you as well because I've worked in Afghanistan and Algeria and grew up in a Los Angeles Metro Suburb known for a large Middle Eastern Immigrant population so I am very well versed and experienced in Islamic moral fundamentals and the political /legal components that are to most the only part they understand of their religion . If Allah is "mostly merciful and forgiving", which i know to be more untrue than true... - why does such a large pro-violence Muslim populous exist? That's the world of today. I live in Germany and tried to be a good guy, but cause of my religion a lot of people watched at me as a terrorist or something like this. It's sad that people believe so easy to the things what they see in television or in the newspapers. Cause I try to love everyone who loves me how I am. It's the heart which is the most important thing. So no matter which religion or nation u belong, we are all humans, we live on the same planet so why is it so difficult to live in peace and love..

Telling someone that they don't want anything to do with them is not hatred. That is a typical exaggeration. It is the exercise of free choice. Muslims do not seem to get the fact that a lot of people find that practicing an aggressive religion that denies free speech is objectionable.
She said that muslims beat up their wives and behead people. That kind of assumption is not ok under any circumstances. Also, muslims do not practice an "aggressive" religion. They actually celebrate peace and humanity. Saying that their religion is "aggressive" is an assumption which is not okay. Respect all people and their religions even if you do not believe in them.
