An ice cream craving in the middle of the desert...nice, $100 ice cream. OK Trent, your turn. Fomation dead stick was incredible. My heart pounds when my engine sputters dam. Great flying and video. Thank you both. Take care.
Still kicking myself for not buying a bush plane when I had the chance. Your airplanes are awesome ! And your videos just get better and better, great fun to watch 👍
WOW! You and Mike have amazing skills. Yes, it takes time and effort to make these, so I just want to say: Thank You! Your effort is greatly appreciated. I eagerly await each one, and have been spreading the word about all of you. Keep it up!
Another incredible video; envious of the editing. Picked up again after you're comments, thanks. Bought a strut mount for my GoPro. And I really enjoyed your power-off landings - great energy management!
Good stuff dudes. Need to come back to the US for some flying. But South Africa is fun, too (and much cheaper) and has got some pretty nice back county as well (and can match the density altitude). Keep on posting.
I've been dead-stick once after flame-out in an F-104, and half dead-stick once after losing an engine on a Cessna 411 I owned at the time. Didn't really care for either one. Neither plane makes a very good glider. :-)
HAHA.. Yea I have been wanting to find some good mountain wave and shut down and glide without loosing altitude.. That would make a cool video... Thanks for the comment... I just spent all day making 2 more videos, ad I get to go fly in Iceland here soon...
at 755 that looks like a giant mud slide that came down from the mountains or a mud glacier that would be cool to see a 1000 year video of that i mean 1000 years spead up to a few minuits
You guys suck! I was an aircraft mechanic for over 30 years with no real interest to fly em. I enjoyed laying in the boom pod of our KC-135s and look at the patterns of the earth as it rolled by. These videos have reminded me of that joy. Thanks
Jason your videos are getting better and better! Love the drone work...guessing Trent turned you on to that? Keep the great videos coming! And as usual...great flying guys.
Very etherial, surreal, fun, etc.. Only 1960s expressions comes to mind. Outta sight man. Far out!. (class of '71.) Are you going to do another video using some of all the drone footage from that day? Great work.
I hope to, I did not get much drone footage when everyone was there though. There was another drone flying that got some was probably Roy, search for his channel Roy Evans
You guys stopped at the Border Inn to get ice cream. It's where I get ice cream and a cold carbonated drink, while driving to Cortez, CO. from Petaluma, CA.
those real cubs have better glide ratio than my 60" wingspan timber. im thinking i get lots of drag because my 12 inch prop is still spinning from the wind blowing it. lol cant feather my prop its fixed pitch plastic and an electic motor will still spin freely w/o power

I’m looking for the word to describe this... guess I’m going to borrow Trents word... EPIC!!!

Thanks for the great comment!!
Really cool...loved the glider training at the end...nice landings...
Wonderful imagery.

Love it, my longest soaring flight was in the Citabria tow plane. 5.5 hour wave ride...
I love your creativity in making up those challenges, both interesting to do and view!
Toooo cool, thanks for taking us along.
Nicely done! Edits are getting progressively better! Love it.
Gosh, that would be an awesome weekend!

Wow! Such a great video! True flying!
awesome video and flying guys!
Thanks!!
Love the quiet
Video at 7:50 on is beyond COOL...... that is flying !
Sweet vid and great way to train up while having fun. *Going for ice cream*
I like ice cream!!
Can I be your friend. You guys look like you have a blast all the time , and your likeable attitude. love it! love the vids.
Love it! Nice shots and music. I have a CC - EX2 on the East Coast, no place as big to stop the prop and try some gliding.. Jealous.
thanks for the comment.... you should fly out here...
LOL! Jason, don't think I ever knew of anyone who enjoys dead-stick landings as much. Good job, you guys.
I do like it... Love all the different sounds you hear.

Jason Sneed If I wasn't so blasted old, I think I might take up soaring. The Arcus M really tugs on my "I want one of those" string.
I hear ya, many planes have that effect on me.. But I really think a cub in the western states is about as much fun you can have in aviation..
The engine off flying was very cool

EPIC!!!
Thanks bud!
Great vid Jason & Mike! You guys know your machines and use 'em well :)
Thanks!!
That look like Mark Patey to me not Mike Patey lol.
Great utilization of active track!! Love it!
That must be what Hal looked like on the way to Oshkosh 2019. A good skill to practice.
Yep, they fly fine without the engine.

that would be a great place to set up my 16 inch scope i used to process my neet Saturn image

Model Aviator Adventures no, I have had a drone for a long time, thanks for the comment.
love the electric skateboard!
Real nice edit Jason!!!
Thanks bud!
Beautiful
Very cool stuff indeed. :)

Was that ice-cream shop on 50? I’m pretty sure we were just their on our trip...
I think so.. right at the boarder
That was epic Jason, just the sound of the wind hitting the cub must have felt amazing?
Dead stick formation, damn...
Beautiful video! I think we need to get you into a glider though, you clearly want to!
I have been in once... Kinda weird the guy just put me up front and said lets go...
I am so jealous! If I was about 20 years younger I would buy a tail
dragger bush plane! The only problem is I live in Ohio!
You guys stopped at the Border Inn to get ice cream. It's where I get ice cream and a cold carbonated drink, while driving to Cortez, CO. from Petaluma, CA.
Hahaha small world
awesome!!
Yep, gotta have ice cream no matter the cost in the desert... 🤗
Seriously bad ass! So cool
Thanks!!
Very cool video. Is Trent going to join you?
Good one. Love the air-to-air shots. So was that on a Sunday when the MOA was closed? Looks like a cool area.
Chris Eaves I don’t know if it was closed.
Skill , Awesome :)

Made my day 😊. Unable to fly today...😑
maybe tomorrow
Jason Sneed lol ended up flying Friday and Sunday. 🛩🛩
Awesome!!!
Dead stick flying at it’s best
Thanks
might try that land board with a foil kite
Or my Paramotor wing!
ha ha...yeah, you could do that too
what mike needs to do is heavily modify a beaver. that would be the best bush plane ever built.
GREAT!
Imagine if you could feather the prop, oh maybe the weight in the nose would make it sink?
sweet
did the engine stop on purpose or ?
yes
sweet
