I've been watching your videos about these pencils from the first one, they look increasingly interesting and so clever that each tin forms a set on its own but the full 72 give such a good colour rnage
I just bought them for my uncle in Scotland. I love the idea that Albert put them together to assist in good mental health. I like it even better that he took those who can't afford the "Crown" in colour pencils into account. He has produced a quality product and made them available in individual sets at a reasonable price. People can buy when they can afford! It took me awhile to realise that the Skin Tones were Black Widow. If my uncle takes to colouring in, he might get another surprise. I wish other sets would separate "skin tones."

I currently own all three sets, they are my favorite by far of all the pencils I have, would love to have another complete set as these are my "go to" pencils. Great review by the way!
I love the fact that these superb pencils were made with mental illness in mind, it is a cause close to my heart. My art has saved my sanity. I will get the full 3 sets just on this alone. After watching your review i am certain they will meet my expectations. Thank you.

@@TheArtGearGuide I have suffered from mental illness since a childhood trauma, there started my love of art, particularly colouring books and pencils. My dad would always come to the hospital with supplies which i could escape in to. It was my way of expressing my self and it became my main source of comfort. At 14 i taught myself Calligraphy and combined my love of colour with that too. I am now 58 with a grown family and grandchildren and i still get the books out when the little ones stay over. I do believe that the this saved my life, something that was good in my life. Thank your friend for me on behalf of all suffers. You did a fabulous thing Albert, thank you Sir.
Hi Diana is it just me but the white doesn't blend hardly at all. I always use the white ones in a set to blend the coloures I have done even a small flower ifind it hard. What do you think ? If you use the white same as me . I would realy appreciate any help. Thank you Karen xxx❤❤
Thank you for this video. I’m a card maker who loves to stamp then color. Since there’s no way I can afford poly chromos, I’m thrilled to learn about these 72 pencils. I got them today and am very pleased with how smooth they cover. I’ve also got Spectrum Noir complete sets so I don’t need any more. Your videos are very helpful to a newly in coloring.

Again thanks for the shout out on this. Them looking on Amazon I saw this new set and got it and another Black Widow set in a tin at the same time. What I can say is that this line of product delivers higher quality than it's price point. You get an exceptional pencil for the price. A must have buy. Thanks for pointing it out to us. No snobbery, just good core colour.

I'm new to coloured pencils, and I wonder if you could say something about mixing different brands and different hardness of pencils, mixing oil-based with wax-based and so on? What works and what don't?
Hi Pam, they are not Artist grade pencils which is why they so inexpensive so Lightfastness was not the priority for this range of pencils, the owner wanted to produce a set of pencils aimed specifically at the adult colouring marker and people experiencing mental health issues. That being said, because so many people love them, Colored Pencil artists do use them but not with their commission work. I think once lightfastness is brought into a pencil it knocks the price up significantly, which would defeat the owners original demographic. This is why Caran D’Ache Pencils and other artist grade pencils are rightly so expensive, because of all the testing and work that goes into making a pencil Lightfast and thus allowing colored pencil artists to put a justifiably higher price tag on their work. I would love to win these pencils, they look good. I love the black look. Thank you for all your reviews. I especially like the fact you always mention lightfastnes of the products, it's important to me. I mainly colour in colouring books, but someone I like to copy designs from the books, colour them and give them as gifts to friends and family. So when I do that I obviously want the colours to last for many years to come.

I really like these pencils and especially the company's genuine compassion for art and it's connection to mental health solutions. I hope I win all three sets.
Dont add me to the give away, I recently bought all 3 sets. I made my color swatch and have them in a pencil case by colors. I have not used them on the coloring page im working on currently as I have used gesso and it would eat these soft pencils up. I have found the colors very bright and vibrant. The core to me is a soft core somewhere between a prisma and polychromos. I did experiment a little and you can get several layers, i didnt find the need to use gamsol or the like as the pencils did a good job blending alone. I primarly blend dark to light. The con I can say is that mine had a strong semi unpleasant odor. I left mine open to the air for a few days and smell went almost all away. I like these pencils a plan to use them in my coloring soon. Thank you Albert for a quality product with a decent price point. Please dont enter me in the give away....thank you😊

Yes they do layer, and I haven't really used the white to blend, I usually use a blender pencil
