Alot of the guys we work with use Contour cameras as a helmet, bow or gun camera- but there are cheaper ones about and I think the one Simon had was an Ebay purchase recording at 720P.
Ferreting is an art and just an ultimate combination of man and animal working together ....definetly time for me to stop filmin on my phone going to get a GoPro in the sales
I wonder if there is a way to get the ferrets to come to a noise. like a squeak or something that you condition response them too associate with food or something, my sister has a pet ferret that will drop what ever its doing when she squeaks this little toy and coming running. that way you wouldnt have dig the darn things up.
Just like to say thanks to Mark and the Fieldsports Britain team for taking the time to do a guide to getting some land to shoot over! Anyone who has spent any time on a shooting forum will know that this question is asked a LOT. The other question being which gun should I get, so I was wondering if you guys would consider doing a piece on what is suitable for what and where etc? Also I was thinking that an app like Mark's would be awesome in Australia as well! Anyway keep up the good work!!
Sorry about that - Simon wants it hidden for now because he wants to put it into production once he has got it working well. He's been working at this on and off for a couple of years.
Hi - It's worth giving dropping Mark a line - I'm sure he can adapt it for anywhere in the world. Maybe message him through his TH-cam account as there seems to be some confusion around his twitter account!!?
Great episode yet again, although I would never inform the police if I was out shooting, I'm perfectly legal in every way, that's like saying inform the police if your going to the shop because there maybe shoplifters about!
I have a ferret and he is such a boss pet 2nd best ive ever had and I've had over 100 he scared a squirrel and a rat out of a hole in my yard that was leaving shit everywhere
I disagree the bit about phoning the police. The farmer knows you're there, the police have to attend anyway if someone reports a man with a gun in a field, so by doing this you will make it standard practice. Before we know it it will become law. Do you tell the police every time you go out with your car in case you might break the speed limit? No I didn't think so. I am not going to ask permission from the police to carry out a lawful activity.
Its called pest-control hunting & unless the rabbits are infected & unediable, they would have already been eaten.Im sure in France the French farmers or landowners kill rabbits for the same reason & eat or sell them,on to fine, dining restaraunts?

Hi - Catching up with Andy tomorrow.
Good tips from Mark! I think those tips are indeed very important!!
Mark,
Would you please condense the advice in your 2-part piece on getting a shoot, into a PDF or some kind of downloadable format?
Great job as usual guys. Shame you did not share my HMR video.... Maybe next week? =)
Great video. Good article about the ferret cameras
Epic video yet again, love it! More air rifle stuff?

And now I know why the European Cottontail rabbit is becoming threatened in Europe.
I have a ferret and he is such a boss pet 2nd best ive ever had and I've had over 100 he scared a squirrel and a rat out of a hole in my yard that was leaving shit everywhere
great show as always
Brilliant Ive always wanted to ft a camera to a ferret.
God dam your video's are so so so good, but the sound levels is keeping my missus nagging.
I am @thegamechef if you have enough questions then we can do a q and a piece either on FSB or I will do it and upload it
Roger will do! Cheers Guys!
I thought that ferrets has a season cos of the young getting killed and the ferret sleeping afterwards and too much digging needed
why???????? do you eat them at least
why don't you send email me
Great video
sorry it is @gamechef
Looks like a lot more work is required to achieve viewable footage. Poor old rabbits they really are at the top of everybody's food chain.
Time for some crow man pigeon shooting in a very soon episode
why can't there be a real rabbit season sign telling me to hunt rabbits that would be cool
we need more high pigeon shooting

The pleasure doesn't come from killing rabbits. If you've never hunted anything you couldn't possibly understand.

Chun lie stuff
Mature men enjoying killing rabbits, what went wrong in your childhood, were you abused by the local priest?
