Thanks for the plug chaps. We had an awesome time with country pursuits tv and verminhunterstv. Lisa is a great talent and will go far with malc looking her. The rats just kept coming and coming.!! Many thanks, atb, paul, ken and stu. (Kps hunters)
Hi Stuart - Dom's had his rifle customised for a feature in Sporting Shooter magazine over the last few months by Chris Blackburn UK-Gunworks. It is a GRS stock.
Smashing episode- I particularly enjoyed the ratting! I have a 7 month old Border Terrier bitch & I want her to be a ratter. She's interested & tries to get at pigeons & squirrels when I'm plucking or skinning them, & if I give her a squirrel's tail she pounces on it, shakes it about & plays with it until she's torn it apart so, to my amateur eye, she seems to have good instincts. if I chuck her in my mate's barn will she just get stuck in, or would the company of a seasoned ratter help? Thanks

There's a lot better way to drag a deer than the way you guys dragged that hind. I'm a professional meat hunter in nz and I drag them from the head I use a short rope with a stick on one end tied at both ends and a single string tired around the neck then a half hitch around the nose and pulling the deer forward is heaps easier because they slid on the hair better and the legs hang back so they don't get caught up on scrub the same and if there's two of you you can hold an end of the stick each the stick needs to be 18" long
