We just lost power for 7 days with hurricane Milton. The longest I’ve went without power was 3 weeks and 3 days with hurricane Charlie! Tip for you is to always keep frozen water bottles in your freezer so if you lose power it’s like having ice packs
You know I don’t think anyone in the area was prepared at all! Normally we get a little wind/rain but being so close to the mountains we just don’t get the hurricanes. I’ve been here 21 years and this was the first. Apparently Hugo was the last one to have this much effect on the area. I’m sorry you lost power! I couldn’t handle 3 weeks. 😳🫣But those are great tips! My bestie lives in Lakeland Florida and I was so worried about her when Milton was coming through.
I swear it is only when your in a hurry when stuff like shredding tape happens.. usually when I cut myself on the tape too
