    You know you're tired when you pause it at .31 in and jeff is saying he has no nuts. Then proceed to laugh. Love your work as always jeff. Cant wait to see the end result. Then start work on the alfa

    We've seen Mrs. Jeff helping out in a number of episodes, I'd say she's a keeper Mate.

    The front looks great now with the lower bumper/splitter is in. Thank goodness the car was in the air when the lower bumper decided to make a run for it. Great use of an old boot too! Keep up the grest work Jeff.

      Thanks guys. Glad you are enjoying it. Hopefully the engine will be on it's way very soon, and I will be able to do some road trips.

    Hey Jeff :) Nice work there! I've read that already some guy told you to use "windex" and I wanted to add- if you don't have anything like that you can generally use soapy water and let the string to absorb it. It helps and won't hurt your paintjob like the WD40 . Keep up the good work! Regards from Bulgaria :)

    Hey Jeff, i'm glad you took a bit of care with handling that back glass - would HATE to think of replacement cost!! (I'm good at breaking glass panels).
    Love the progress. Tiger.

    Happy Australia Day, Jeff! I hope you guys get to have 'biscuits' to celebrate! My old CEO was Australian, and always shared the celebration with everyone in the office.

    I would never have expected you to be a Die Antwoord fan or to hear an elevator music version of evil boy. Love the car and your episodes. Can't wait for the final product.

      I just did this with an old coach builder he used candle wax on the rubber and metal he even waxed the string. ive done a few windscreens and this was the easyist one ive done

    That dark look the car has would look great with smoked LED angel eyes headlights . Starting to look really good. Might have to hit up Supercheap for some mechanic bonnet protectors... don’t want a zippier scratching that beautiful paint job. Loving the build Jeff. 👍🏻👍🏻

    Looking good with that front end back together. Just a quick thought on those inertia reels - they're usually setup for a particular mounting angle so flipping from upside down to side mount may be an issue. Mayb check the doco just to be sure.....

    Looks great, Jeff. I think i kind of like the light blue tape on the hood. Maybe some custom blue pinstriping in the 680`s future?

    I have a Range Rover and the pervious owner installed the dash without the glove box cable attached. He never figured it out and ended up selling the car to me. I had a heck of a time, but finally got it open.

    professional glass installers use a "windex" to lube the rubber & it cleans the glass at the same time

    non OEM window seals can be a reason for windows not going in, try it with the old rubber seal to confirm if this is the case.

      Yeah. 5:50 oops! I’ve messed up worse than that. Lucky you didn’t crack those clear turn signal lenses. They are around $150 here in the USA. Same as I used on my Z-car.

  • @ritrebor
    @ritrebor 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    I did my dash and it kept cracking again.
    What I did was remove most of the screws holding the dash to the metal frame except for about 4 screws. (there's a lot)
    Since the dash is held in by the pillars and instruments it wont go anywhere. Allows the dash to float on the frame so there is no pressure on the old foam to stress crack again.
    Worked for me.

I'm guessing a white Christmas was a foreign concept for you, on the other hand? Cheers - thanks for the video, things are really coming along! What are you plans for the headlights? LED? Mrs Jeff the car did have traction control found by the FIA i was hidden in the computer on a second page so when the FIA checked the computer systems it wasn't in the menu but by accident the FIA analyst accidently found the hidden menu and the game was up, Flavio managed to say it was a legal form of traction control that worked between the gears and it wasn't turned on they were testing it. Strange Ayrton Senna was telling Williams and others that Michael was running it before he dies.

    The chrome goes on before you put the glass in the car....If you are going to use it...

    • @andrewlangford88
      @andrewlangford88 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I always put mine in after, it's meant to be a locking strip that locks it in.
      There is so much debate around the chrome locking trim and when to install it that it probably makes little difference to the installation process haha

      It helps to be able to get to both sides at once. One to push down and the other pulling the string.

    Cutting down runs and trash. The biggest reason for procrastinating on finishing a paint job. For fear that you'll botch it and scrape through the clear into the basecoat

    hey Jeff if that is the urethane splitter id suggest bracing it somehow, under high speeds it will want to flex on you pic for reference (forums.hybridz.org/applications/core/interface/imageproxy/imageproxy.php?img=album.hybridz.org/data/500/zccivbbq211.jpg&key=6f58a8e86c5f1cf40a437aa6acf057f5a16167e3686082d358f0193206c1aebc)
