I owned one of these back in 1979 paid $5200 for my 78 & owned it for 6 yrs one of the fastest vehicles I've ever owned. Then like a lot of things of mine, I got bored with it, and traded it in for a trans am. Later in life it has become one of my most regrettable decisions I've ever made I would love to own my truck again and I miss her dearly! Oh those were the days I would love to recover. 😢💔 I heard through the grapevine that someone bought my truck and it now lives on Martha's Vineyard Island off the coast of Massachusetts who knows maybe this truck in this video is my old truck? Although my truck had a center console and a roll bar in the bed of the bed.
@@joshualakey2574 haha that's what you think, one morning while driving to work during a down pour, I hydroplaned, lost control & slammed into a tree, totaling that Trans am. I received 3 broken ribs, ankle & wrist, topped with multiple contusions & I bruised my heart. Happy to say I'm still here to tell the story, but what's worse, is I still regret, trading in, my li'l Red Express Truck. I now own a Red Hummer H3 its nice, but it's no li'l Red.
@@user_9477 the T/A had a 400 eng fast car but my "78" Li'l Red Express was by far my favorite vehicle of all time, so many women came my way in that truck too! 👍
I can't believe the amount of people I've talked to that wished they had all the cars they could have originally bought from the 70's. But in today's money thats $31,464.87!
