The two pieces with holes for the base, also would have done the same with the top as well I would have drilled together; 2. The top, I would have glued it together, including the rails, before painting. Great video. Let us know if they succeed in solving the puzzle in the allotted time.
Thank you for the suggestions. You are right, I should have drilled them at the same time. As for painting, I usually do that, but I had already glued and painted the top part, and decided to add the rails after I had painted them. Great suggestions, though!
