I have this in my porfolio though im at a lost of 5% i gain 5% in dividends last year so hopefully with decreasing interest rates the fund will go up in price
This fund is actually invested in companies with solid moat. Ur investment value fluctuates because the NAVPU moves up and down. May nag dedeposit may nag wiwithdraw ng funds nila. The stocks in this fund also have activities that are big factors. Considering the dividend yield trend, ung 20% loss mo mababawi lng ng dividend yan in about 5 years. Mag aral kayo ng maayos and have a strong foundation kasi delikado yan namimili lng kau ng anong magandang investan na fund tas wala kaung strong knowledge about how this really works. Parang nag mamaneho kau ng kotse na di naman marunong mag maneho. Don't invest sa stock market if hindi kayo willing patulugin ang pera nyo jan ng at least 10 years.
Any recommendation kung saan pwede mag aral nito? Hindi ko alam saan mag sisimula. Panay YT videos lang and so far may 1k ako dito sa ALFM. Ang bilis ng panahon, naka 1 year na ako. May pa konti konting dividend pero sana nag dagdag ako ng investment sooner.

Nakikinig ako mix of local and foreign youtubers. For now baka gusto mo mag cost averaging jan sa current fund mo.. Meaning maglagay ka ng uniform amount at regular interval. Example 1000 pesos every 15 days or pwede rin 3000 every month. At hayaang mo lang matulog ung pera mo regardless kung tumataas or bumababa. Long term strategy. Olats talaga ung short term. Make sure yung willing ka ilagay or iinvest jan di mo kailangan na pera soon. Consider it gone.
Sinubukan ko mag ginvest ng halagang 80.00 pesos sa ALFM . Sa loob ng 15days naka recieved ako ng dividends sa halagang .24cents now my total investment value is 80.93 pesos na .
I have this and was able to get dividends but twice na nangyaring nadelay ung pagsettle ng dividends sa gcash. Before it took a month to correct and had to create a ticket for it. Last month it happened again and until now still waiting for updates on when it will be settled. If this keeps up I dont think its a good idea to even invest kung lagi namang delayed ung pagsettle ng dividends.

170k invested over a year or so, forgot how long exactly, is now 195k... basically just used the dividends to buy into the fund again. Of course more money to be made in other funds (Consumer trends and the tech funds giving higher rewards but with higher risk) which is why not everything I have is in this fund. But this sure as hell beats the interest rates of all our major banks (less than 1% interest is a joke).

Kaka try ko palang po mag ginvest yong 50 pesos naging 49.99 po fortpolio ko ano po ibig sabihin ng buy and sell para saan po yong sell dapat po bang lalaki yong invest ko na 50 pesos or mauubos po onti onti ibig sabihin po ba kapag nababawasan yong invest ko nalulugi po ba sila ano po ibig sabihin ng dividend po bago lang po kasi ako sa pag iinvest sir
sir tanong lang po, Paano po nila na proprovide yung monthly divident saan po nila kinoha yung kita? samantalang yung market quarterly nmn nag bibigay at minsan yearly pa.

depends po on ur risk tolerance..mas higher risk ung sa global, thu mas higher rewards. but medyo limited lng din ung options natin in investing global. and ofcourse mas closer to home ung pse, mas marami options, pero mas less volume and movement.. so it really depends on u po. :)
Naka 4 times ako naglagay ng 1k nito, nung napansin ko na bumaba ang minimum purchase nya to 50 naglagay ako ng 500. Sa 4500 ko nasa 4539 na. Yung dividends na nareceive ko inipon ko sa Cimb dati pero nung mabanggit mo ang UNO bank daily interest, trinansfer ko na dun lahat 😍

ooh thanks sa advice... will follow this strat too sa gcash ko. May gcash-cash-in and out transactions kami sa store, will re-invest this way.
