- The Tennessee-Ole Miss game this year ended with quite a lot of dramatics on the field. It also ended with quite a lot of things being thrown on to the field. Lucky for Tennessee, their gate security staff is second to none.

I was at the game and when I walked through the gate the "security" literally just stood there and watched me go by. Didn't even wand me. So this is more accurate than you might imagine. 😆

@@joeclark8494 My two cents as an outsider: It had to have been organized before the game, at least by a small portion of those involved. You don't bring golf balls to a football game unless you are planning something like that. No way this was purely a spontaneous reaction to the officiating. Some people might have seen it happening and joined in because they were upset at that, but at least someone walked in to that stadium planning to throw stuff.

These days it's hard for me to laugh out loud, literally. But the SEC shorts always do it. I sometimes rewatch my favorite one. Georgia being arrested for impersonating a #1 team. It was so filled with jokes that the first time I watched it, I cried laughing so hard.
As a TN fan who could only throw stuff at my TV last week, I find this extremely hilarious 😂😂😂.
I can underrstand the immediate reaction (even though I feel the call was correct). I throw things myself at home to the TV (not on purpose though). But when it's 10 minutes later and people are still throwing things, it's totally classless.
@@janejones7638 it was a bad look, but the throwing stuff wasn't about that call you're talking about. it was a culmination of the scoop and score that was called back, kiffin taking all 3 timeouts right before halftime when our kicker was lining up, all the flops in the second half as soon as UT got their tempo going offensively, and several bad spots

As a Florida fan, I'd say that's not correct. The shoe caused us to lose (we didn't need a shoe to cause our loss this year). The mustard just made them look classless.
Don't worry that shoe throwing was classless too. At least the mustard was in retaliation for the refs stealing the game from them. Not the hero they asked for, but the hero they deserved. Mustard.

During the game when I saw that mustard bottle hit the field I damn near fell off the sofa.
I wondered was it thrown by the concession person, was it stolen from the person, or did someone actually bring mustard to a game? The golf ball was too much though. If it hit Kiffin in the head, he might have gone to the hospital.

Yeah, it was a bad joke. I'm originally from Kentucky and spent most my vacations in TN in a campground on Cherokee Lake. I'm a UK basketball fan and would cheer for TN in football in my youth (since UK was soo sad in football during that time). Work in Philly now, so I thought the joke on bad fan behavior fit. Seriously, though, I would hate to see anyone hurt over a sporting event like this, but love passionate fans that support their team. A lot of frustration came out at the end of that game.

Ole Miss’s defense had more “cramps” than items were thrown
They did the same in the Arkansas game. Killed momentum. How long will they let them keep doing this? If a player goes out they should keep him out for the rest of the quarter. Only Ole Miss tho lol
I didn't hear the defensive scheme. Was it prevent defense? Because we know it never works, especially in college.
As a Mississippi State fan, I'm amazed at how the TN fiasco has even made Ole Miss look like the good guy.
BOTH teams were $hitty, but Tenn was $hittier.

My brother played football for Vanderbilt. I always dreaded the games when I sat in the visitors section.
We were pelted by oranges the entire game. Always covered in pulp and sticky orange juice at the end of the game. No fruit sucks like the Big 🍊 Orange

In 1968, when I was about 18 months old, I played football with my father in the new AstroTurf end zone at Neyland Stadium. No security stopped us. In fact my Dad tells me that the ground crew was installing the other end zone at the same time.

I don't want to be like FSU. Hiring one bad coach, then another, and possibly another after that.
