Coming from an American who currently owns a Jaguar...I would trade my XJR in a heartbeat for this Citoen...it's the most beautiful thing I have ever seen
German Cars , Italian Cars , Swedish Cars , and British Cars , Are more Luxery and their in USA But yeah French Cars are more Vintage Style than 🇩🇪🇮🇹🇸🇪🇬🇧
Not really. Yes the C6, Vel Satis and maybe the 607 were well engineered but take any other of their offerings especially from Peugeot-Citroen you will see they they are cheaply built. Yes the quirkyness of Citroen might make up for this this but Peugeot is to dull. Peugeot especially in the 1960s,1970s,1980s and 1990s made solid dependable vehicles and in the 80s and 90s they were fun to drive and could rival any BMW. But in the late 90s they started making dull, forgettable, boring and unreliable cars that it would change thru reputation and changed the way people think of Peugeot. They are trying to be cool bow but they are still unreliable and not very fun to drive
Love the neo-retro styling but acres of cream leather = bad idea. Other than that I would buy a petrol one today with black/grey/white interior for sure.....sadly nobody did buy a petrol model and so they are nowhere to be found as a used car option. I'd rather have this than the E65 BMW 7 series which just looks hideous at the back and bland at the front with zero styling on the side and horrible 1970s column stalk gear selector, oh how the mighty had fallen eh? I'd rather have this than a 7 series or a Jag or an S-class. The only possible rival for my attention is an Audi A6
Great cars if you have warranty, an absolute fortune to maintain when things go wrong Uber complexe cars, that need regular repairs to keep them on the road
Beautiful car.
Much more interesting than the top-end german or japanese rivals.
Very elegant, very french.
Many years on, and god is that thing special. The only problem is that they're still pricey second hand, even with an abundance of mileage on them.

When I went to France and I saw this car for the first time.. so elegant, especially in the backdrop of rolling hills and the sea
one of those cars I don't need, but want all the same - gorgeous!
This deserves HD
Second hand proposition it'll be impossible to find one because no one's going to buy a new one :-)
Too bad America doesn't get citroen/Peugeot vehicles!! Love those French cars!!

Intelligent video on a magnificent car. A pleasure to watch it.
Cupholder design stolen from Saab 9-5 but this is one elegant piece of engineering.
It certainly is. My Dad had a Saab. Awesome car.
A Saab cupholder! Looks like Citroen was ahead of its time again, but no one cared.
His maths was about right 😂 they only sold 23,400, shame it’s such an exquisite car
C5 has hydroactive suspansion too.... İt's amazing .....
I'm american and I'm fucking pissed this isn't available in the US.
I know from years of experiencing Peugeot and BMW that French cars are so much more optimum engineered than German cars.
lol, modern Peugeots are absolutely terrible cars.

Hearing people hate on the 2000's 5 series is always hilarious
Oh yes... you know you’re in 2007 when you’re only able to select 240p
Quality is so bad i thought this was Bill Bailey
Seems the next one on the cards for me.. shame about the diesel but I’ll love with it !
The V6 diesel is a superb engine. Don't fret over the engine in this case.
Forgets to talk about the repair bills.....
Steering wheel on the right? What for?
nothing like citroën
whats that song at the end >.< ? plz

Still pricey , I m looking for a low mileage at a good price.
The first grandcoupe
