Great video. You guys are forgetting two things which made this change alot harder than the video. 1. The window has to be all the way up, otherwise you will not be able to have acess to the the two bolts which loosen and tighten the two clamps to the window. My Equinox would come uo about two inches short to the top which made acsess to the two bolts a pain. 2. the replacement part has to have the two guides for the window near the top. My didnt. So you have to connect the electrical connection and run the regulator and get them in their right position other wise the screw holes will not line up. 😀
great video, but did you notice that the screws that hold the frame on the inside, are backwards? 2 top screws have no washer screws so they can fit thru the door frame slots, the bottom ones must have the washer screws, no slot on door frame. noticed that when i did my assembly, with your help. other than that. made it look easy.. thanks,
how to move window to up position if it's stuck half way? took the door card out, and the insulation, and pushing upward manually on the window will not budge, cables tight and won't move
My parents driver door window is in the down position and won't work. How do I get it in the up position to replace the window regulator. Assuming it's the window regulator.
+blackseabrew You will want to start with removing the door panel first as shown in the video. This will allow you access to the window so that you can manually move and secure it in its upward position.

Thank you! Was able to replace my passenger side with no trouble at all.
One of the best videos I’ve seen.
Do I have to change the whole assembly or can I just change the motor out

My parents live on a gravel road. Wondering if the wiring clip didn't wiggle lose.
Of course all of the other switches on the door are functioning. So I presume it's the window regulator.

Now go ahead and give it a try...
