Dr Rao, thank you for this information. Although I need to point out. Isn't it dangerous to have a scrap (d & c) which can spread the cancer if confirmed diagnosis? A few women on TH-cam mentioned they didn't know they had uterus cancer in the womb, but had to have an investigation as to why they were suffering bleeding, pain, spotting between periods etc. Docs carry out a hysteroscopy and perform a biopsy/scrap but can make the situation worse, especially when their diagnosis confirms they have cancer, but it's too late the docs scraped the womb which caused the spread, and no longer catch the whole uterus womb and remove it as whole. Carol from the United Kingdom.

I’m so glad I found your video. My doctor wants to do a hystroscopy/D & C because my lining is thick 1.9cm. I plan to get it done I’m glad you pointed out that hystroscopy is the what should be done first. I wanted a hysterectomy but he said no this has to be done first in case I don’t need it. I have a history of fibroids and been getting ultrasounds yearly so the thickness is something new. I pray it can be handled during the procedure. Is there anything I should do to prepare for the procedure? I request it be done in daystay because I don’t want it done in office because I heard it’s very painful. I have to be knocked out 😊

Hi is a hystroscopy the same as a endometrium biopsy? If you don't mind sharing, what was the result of your test and how are you now? Thanks for responding.

What if I was on HRT taking progesterone and it caused bleeding and thickness of the uterus? My OBGYN wants to do a D&C. She did one about 3 years ago😢

Thankyou for your video, but getting something done about it is harder then you think, you have got to wait such a long time before you can even get a test done and a diagnosis,it is very worrying.

Are any of you ladies as frustrated as I am that no one ever answers the questions that you have? If the doctor is too busy, I’m sure he has an assistant that can answer questions …very difficult to get help

When I had bleeding continuously pre menopause, it was a polyp. Had it removed. Then 10 years later had a polyp, this time after menopause. It was a polyp again. Removed. Can polyps be prevented?
