Krystal L I would've cut the skirt into panels (not all the way) and I would've used a pleated stiff greener fabric in order to make the skirt poofy!

for the dress i'd make it knee length as you said but add diamond cutouts on the back of the dress, some big some small and scattered around the back of the dress.

Great video as always! You could turn the other skirt into an off the shoulder 70's style boho top? That would look great on you and also would be useful for the warm weather. Keep up the amazing work!

Wow! I have just rediscovered this absolute *Gem* of a vlog/mystery thrifted transfo. between you & April Yang (Coolirpa)! Love, love - *Love* it!
It's fun, though, seeing your slightly older vids/vlogs where you were still finding your way with your overlocker/Serger - Now your always like:
'Hey, Guys: Overlocker? Serger? They're just like the *Best* things *Ev-er*!!!'
Also, you make mistakes & your totally cool with saying - 'Yeah! I screwed up! It happens to all of us - it's how you learn, from you mistakes so don't freak out!' .. I *So* love that, it makes me feel a whole helluva lot better about making my own mistakes & just getting into my style pile/sewing pile/stash. Even though I haven't broken out the sewing machine just yet, I'm clearing the decks of other chores to justify getting there!
And it is all thanks to you, April Yang, the Sorry Girls & more.
    Love hugs'n kisses!
    Ladies (& Gents):
Don't be afraid - Drive to that thrift store/charity shop & *Dive In* to the 'Style Pile'!!!!!

The petticoat looks long enough to be turned into some kind of mini bohemian flowy dress ^^ if the white feels to much I'd recommend tea dying it for a more subtle color.
And also I LOVE the shorts! Pants are still the one thing I haven't dared to make on my own.

Hi Annika, first of all I really like what you are doing with sharing your knowledge as you learn, and am a subscriber to your channel. As a fellow self-learner, though, hope you do not mind if I share some sewing thoughts / feedback every now and then to cross-fertilise from each other's learnings via trial and error. Food for thought, would the shorts look more like ready-to-wear (RTW) if the zip were placed to one side (usually the left side) in the way that one would on a zippered A-line skirt? That is the usual positioning for invisible zips like these on pants as well as skirts. For a centre front zip, usually it would be expected to be a jeans-style fly zip. That being said, maybe someday you will make these shorts again with a fly and wow everyone with that tutorial!

You could use the petticoat as an extender slip for short skirt or dresses or even use it to turn a sweater into dress

maybe you could turn the skirt into a super cool flowy tank top that would be really pretty :))

Such a cute summer outfit & it looks great on you! Maybe use the skirt material for long lacy '70's style shirt sleeves with another material for the body of the shirt? Like you did for your holo shirt.

Loved this Annika! Perhaps the petticoat could be turned into a kimono, that would look really cute!

Annika, you should turn that white shirt into an off the shoulder top or dress. the flow is too perfect for it and great for a spring.
