I'm one of the people who enjoys Blade for an entirely different reason- his suffering. Just a pure unbridled rage at his wrongdoers and unfulfilled rest he so desperately tries to cling to as death rejects his pleas. All Yingxing has left is a mind full of crazed whispers and a blade resting in his hand.
Same. He is a dead man walking, being slowly consumed by a disease he was never supposed to have. His slowly dying body replaced with an immortal one, his healthy mind replaced with a slowly dying one. The tragedy in that is so perverse, so cruel that it becomes something captivating.
As someone with Blade as one of my mains, a massive fave, and definitely my favourite of the Stellaron Hunters, I really love this song and feel like it shows his personality and lore extremely well. A lot of people just see him as an edgelord but he is so much more than just that (he is edgy, though, don't get me wrong). His story revolving mental health and fantasies about death, his self dehumanization as a 'weapon' due to Jingliu's conditioning through torture, the fact that he was Huaiyan's apprentice who loved crafting but can no longer do it due to the damage in his hands from torture, his close bond with Imbibitor Lunae turned into a bitter rivalry. There's so much to him in his character stories. And his soft side as well, like promising Silver Wolf he'll play games with her once his hands heal, despite not even knowing if that would ever happen. And finding the cat cake based on him cute. I just know he'd love his niece Yunli too. I feel like the shifting tones between calm melancholy and rage and hate, in the instrumental and vocals, really capture his different sides. The references to the lore were insane too. The way some of the lyrics are based on the eidolons 'Blade cuts the deepest in Hell', 'Ten thousand sorrows from one broken dream', and 'Rejected by death, infected with life'? AMAZING attention to detail. The chorus sent chills up my spine, especially with the "One broken dream on the whims of cruelty Those tranquil emerald eyes I'll hunt through paradise" part as a reference to his second character story: "He had no dragon horns, and his reaction was slightly less mature than he remembered... But he would never forget this spear, these eyes, and how cruelty burst out from beneath the mirror-like emerald calmness." In fact, SO much of this song references Dan Heng/Dan Feng, it's insane. (Lol my favourite divorced couple, non shippers don't attack me for my joke) And the way you used screamos to represent Blade's mara taking over and the music got more chaotic and intense? ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE. Sorry for the essay LOL, I just think it's one of your best songs till date for all the details and the faithfulness to the character. Absolutely 11/10.

BAG!..I absolutely LOVE your HSR songs, idk how you go about choosing which "genre/type" of music you use to portray the character the song is about. But DAMN do you do it well! Hala the queen DOES IT AGAIN!..hala I said it once and I'll say it again, with chest if I have to! This.. is.. your.. BAG!..I absolutely LOVE your HSR songs, idk how you go about choosing which "genre/type" of music you use to portray the character the song is about. But DAMN do you do it well! You've showcased increases in your vocal prowess and production value in general on these HSR songs so much that I think it's been a like a catalyst to some sort of awakening for you as an artist. These songs are MASTERPIECES...and "Gambler" to this day I still believe should be on broadway! Hala you truly are the queen of nerdcore in my opinion!

Dan Heng is heaven,the lotuses he is associated with and which he has all over his appearance have the meaning of *purity,rebirth and strength*,while Blade’s spider lilies have the meaning of farewells and death. But thanks to their previous lives (Technically Blade didn’t die,but you get what I mean.) Yingxing and Dan *Feng* ,that had made an oath that tied their souls together (?) so Dan Feng can see where Yingxing is and the other way around. Dan Heng is scared of Blade,knowing that he wants to kill him,while Blade is scared of Dan Heng but the desire to get revenge and kill him is stronger... And most notably: Dan Heng is on the path of Trailblaze,an *endless* Silver Rail,while Blade is on the path of Finality,same as all the all the Stellaron Hunters and I think that the name of the path quite literally speaks for itself.
Hala,the song is made perfectly. It displays his struggle and personality just right. The world has 38 Aeons instead of 36,the two other Aeons’ names are HalaCG - the Aeon of Song and Lalody - the Aeon of Lore. ✨ 🍁 💚 🔥
