Hi Yvon! I had a fun trip with you. The gator would have been your first(??) step out of your safe mode. He was fun and really wanted to be in your booth!
The clear one from homeco? only $.49, you can certainly have it just email me, I picked it up just because it was so cheap and still in good condition and I figured one of you would want it, there’s really not a high resale value in the clear but they do still look pretty… Email me at the dedicated email in the video descriptions and throw me a finders fee and you got it girl
Wowza! Love the Fenton heart dish. Good score!! The large red bowl is glorious like u said. It's gotta be something really good. Don't forget to let us know when u identify it. Love your vids, you are such a sweetie.

Hi Kirsten, it was one of those collapsible accordion type wooden vessels, but it did have a big crack in it, I might’ve covered it up too much with the add-on picture I threw in 💜💜
Can you guys help identify something for me? At 3:35, what is the glass to the right of the screen that has the pointy edges? For some reason, I always have to buy it.. I just love the look of it 😃 Does anyone know the maker, or pattern name?
Looks like cut glass….if u type in cut glass pointed edge bowl into Google-something similar is in one of the pics when u scroll down-doesn’t mention maker/pattern though which is weird-but it is nice!
Yvon I don’t think you have to explain your self to people ,about profit of thrifting ,like you said it’s been your business since the 70 ties ,go girl good luck lv Ann uk xx
Hi Ann 💜 I think I understand what Dy is saying, if that is what's on your mind... I do hear a lot of whining about "how dare Thrifts raise prices" ... I pout a bit myself here and there but I know it's all part of the commerce game. But some Thrifters seriously get very hateful about it and act entitled.. so I think? that is what Dy is getting at.... I don't think? is was specifically pointed at me, coz I still buy a lot even at the higher prices, it just is what it is... bread used to be 25 cents LOL... we just have to stay on our game and know what is worth paying up for.💜
I loved that cherry pie dish, I have been looking for another one, I have an apple pie dish. I don't bake pies very often but I use them to put other 'treats' in. I just think they are so adorable and maybe it would be fun to have a few different types. Although I am not sure what other type exist besides apple and cherry. Does anyone know??? 🤷♀️
I just don’t know enough about that kind of thing sorry I’m thinking you were talking about the little octagon shaped clear glass that looked like a candle votive maybe??
Some of the clear glass isn’t depression it just might be America Brilliant Glass from the 1800’s. It’s real thick glass and does sell and for good money lol
That one really had an excellent quality to it and I think I was goofy not to buy it 🤣🤣🤣 and I also agree with Radley, I think it’s high time I learn how to distinguish 💜💜💜
If that was this past Tuesday you were there, I probably just missed bumping into you at New Horizons. I was there later in the day, my first time there and picked up a few good items.
It was, Linda, oh that would’ve been great, we’ve been following each other for a couple of years now but have never gotten together yet… i’ll probably be up your way here and there for the next few months… I’m going to hit some of the antique and vintage malls over on Broadway and Sheridan area
Hi, from iowa! I loved Cripple Creek! Wondered how they got all the stuff up there back on the day-oxen? Thrift store prices are nuts! This isn't Saks for Pete's sake!
yes of course, in every video description Section, about halfway down is the specially dedicated email address for purchases, I will set it aside for you now
apparently a limited run on that Fenton Heart Nappy Dish and they resell a bit higher than average, learned something new... I am still working on the large Red Bowl but I'm sure it's something 💜
Sorry not sorry but the days when thrifters expect to get things for pennies on the dollar and make fistfulls while non profits gift them with goods are not going to last.
Hey I’ve been thrift in since the 70s, back whenever only a few in the shady part of town where the rent was cheap 🤣🤣🤣 I have seen the evolutions of thrift stores and although I pout every once in a while I know how business works… I doubt if they’re going to stop being a resource anytime soon, it’s just a little harder that’s all and prices get passed along… I am still grateful for the treasure hunting fun and the money making opportunities…. And if the large chain thrift stores become unmanageable for reselling, there are plenty of other options and who knows what’s coming down the road
@@islarosaboutique1050 I agree... in my area the Thrifts LOVE ReSellers, 2 of the chains even included inviting ReSellers in thier in-store advertising... most are aware they need us as well and appreciate seeing us fill up a cart. I don't blame them for going online as well and capitalizing on Thrifting popularity. So many still have the erroneous thought that Thrift Stores and Charity Thrifts are just open to provide cheaper goods to underfinanced people... ask them and they will tell you they could not survive with just sales from lower income buyers... they want to make money to fund outreach programs that are actually more beneficial. A lot of Thrifts allow vouchers to be given to qualifying recipients so they may get basic supplies for free. YES, some are a bit shady in this area and do as little as possible to share the profits...we all know the reports. And as you point out, Thrifting for ReSale keeps sooo many self motivated people from becoming too deep in the low income pool and that is a side perk for all communities.
Thrift stores are not gifting. From what I see, most resellers are not making "fistfulls" but modest profits. Moreover, thrift stores get their inventory at no cost and their wage scales are very modest. Not all thrift stores are non-profits, and some non-profits return a low percentage of their income to their charitable ventures. Finally, many thrift stores over-price older items because they use Ebay for price comparisons, but don't weigh the difference between asking prices and sold prices or the condition of an object.
You may be surprised at the mark up resellers ask for and receive. My concern is not for the current price of items that are not necessaries. Are you willing to provide the names of the thrift stores that are not non profits? I am aware that thrift stores get the items that they sell for no cost while paying employees far below a liveable wage.
MORE than a little bit of fun thanks
Jeda 💕💜💕

@@YvonThriftyRich Sounds good, so if you see us, wave & say hi :-) Oh wait, guess we will need to do that as you don't know us ;-)
Take care!

❤️Love love love that Fenton heart! Great score! Love tagging along with you…my Goodwill has mostly Garage Sale Chic! And I just stopped this morning at my American Rescue Workers and that was the first time I left with nothing! Flea markets, estate sales and church rummage sales are where I am finding great treasures lately! Have a great weekend!❤️❤️❤️🥰❤️
I want to start doing more of those avenues as well… I see a lot of people doing very well at estate sales 💜
Hello Yvon.
Hi Debra ☮️💟
Love watching your channel
It is like we are shopping together
Hi Myra & Thank you as always 💜
Hi Yvon! I had a fun trip with you. The gator would have been your first(??) step out of your safe mode. He was fun and really wanted to be in your booth!
I really meant to try to decipher that mark... got sidetracked by a friend, happens a lot LOL😂
I have a casserole dish with a lid that matches the bowls around the 5:45 min mark. Received for Christmas the in the 90's. I'm in New Mexico.
The ceramic ones that look like studio pottery Anna?
Yvon I so want the fairy light at second store!
The clear one from homeco? only $.49, you can certainly have it just email me, I picked it up just because it was so cheap and still in good condition and I figured one of you would want it, there’s really not a high resale value in the clear but they do still look pretty…
Email me at the dedicated email in the video descriptions and throw me a finders fee and you got it girl
I Love the Miniature Schnauzer Figurine! Looks Just Like My Baby! Thank you Yvon for the Video!
Hi & THANK YOU for being here ☮️💟
Wowza! Love the Fenton heart dish. Good score!! The large red bowl is glorious like u said. It's gotta be something really good. Don't forget to let us know when u identify it. Love your vids, you are such a sweetie.
Yes got really lucky with that Fenton piece, perfect condition as well… yes I will let you all know an update on that red glass bowl ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Yvon omg the Fenton heart was a amazing find for u ,u have found some amazing pieces lv Ann xx
yessss, that was apparently a limited run on that and they resell a bit higher than average, learned something new 💙
Hi ! Love shopping with you. The wooden basket?? Did it fold flat?? I have family members that make them.
Yes, it was one of those accordian type baskets, and in a really nice wood this time... are they complicated to make?
I need that Colorado mug, i collect them.
OK just send me an email, the dedicated email address is in video descriptions… if you want it of course you will get a good deal and just pay for shipping 💜💜💜
OMG. That Fenton Heart!❤️ / Girl. You’re not wrong on that 70s colors napkin holder. 🥴 / Purple Crocodile - IMO was a yes. 😂 / Fairy lamp-Score 👍🏻. Always fun to watch you shop.
Hi there, Right? Definitely learned something new about Limited edition Fenton 💜💜
Why are resellers not using solar rechargers for their phones...it is a bit frustrating when videos are short.
Wait what? Solar rechargers, I’ve never even thought to look 🤣🤣🤣
That wood basket may have folded flat.
it did, it was one of those accordian type things, probably a more official name though, I would have bought that if it was not crack, really nice wood
That silver on clear glass sure was beautiful. I hope it doesn’t end up in the land fill.
I’m pretty sure someone will buy that it was an excellent condition 💜
LOL garage sale sheek 😂
🤣🤣❤️I need to go back through the last videos comments and see who said that because I wanna give her credit, that was a term new to me and I absolutely adore it
I think that was not a crack in the wood bowl. It looked like it was a collapsible bowl, like a spiral..
I just love the look of it 😃
Does anyone know the maker, or pattern name?
I tried to look At the quick scan at that time stamp but I don’t have a clue
i’m sure someone picked it up by now it was so lovely💜💜 But tomorrow is their half-price day for everybody, so I might stop in real quick
Strawberry.I have one.
As you might notice from the very last video, I did go back and get that when it was half price
I was wondering about the glass thing beside the bread basket, if it was a spooner or not! My mom and I collect spooners!
Do you have a timestamp so I can go directly to it
@@YvonThriftyRich It's around 5:22
I just don’t know enough about that kind of thing sorry I’m thinking you were talking about the little octagon shaped clear glass that looked like a candle votive maybe??
Some of the clear glass isn’t depression it just might be America Brilliant Glass from the 1800’s. It’s real thick glass and does sell and for good money lol
and will be gaining in popularity, get to know, buy it and hold it a bit, thr value is appreciating again
Hi Jane, well you know there was gold and other valuable stuff in the ground up there so you know they figured that out 🤣🤣
Is there any way I can purchase the Pogo mug? That was my dads nickname when he was a kid, named after that character!
yes of course, in every video description Section, about halfway down is the specially dedicated email address for purchases, I will set it aside for you now
I am jealous of the beautiful red glass, hard to find.
apparently a limited run on that Fenton Heart Nappy Dish and they resell a bit higher than average, learned something new...
@@YvonThriftyRich hi from ga luv to hear you and shop with you you always buy us beautiful treasures . Thank you
Thrift stores are not gifting.
