I totally understand your stance on branding and advertising, but this comprehensive video showcasing the features and benefits of this awning did more to promote and market it, than it being seen with the logo while packed on your vehicle. 😁
It’s aimed at helping the viewer not the company. If they get collateral benefit so be it, but that’s not my motivation. Branding still comes off, I’m no one’s bitch👍
Awesome!! 👍One of the reasons we bought the Darche 270 when it was first released (I got the first one in S.A.) was the triangle going forward & they have a small flap that drops down to fill in that area forward of the windscreen which certainly makes a difference. Yes, the negative is also the lack of coverage to the rear like you mentioned. Since a change of vehicles & then the addition of the Bundutop RTT & Bundusuite (I "still" blame you for that purchase!🤣) I contacted Darche & they were good enough to supply a couple of zips so we can extend the rear (one day maybe?) We also carry the side walls & while they aren't used all that often, they come into their own in crappy weather especially if we are base camped (we had a week of rain on our last trip). Oh, the Darche also came with built in poles too! I have of course LED's hard wired on our awning too (anything to simplify setup) 😁 I've gotta say, after seeing this, I think the Buduawn is definitely worth considering especially as it is an extra 300m wider all round, better looking run off for rain & the new squared end. Looking forward to a long term review. Cheers Terry & have Great Weekend! 👍👍P.S. The first thing I did was take the stickers off the Bundutop & I honeslty thought about removing the Darche label before that!😂
Hey Terry, just wondering do you have a video on your rubbish bag on the spare tyre, just wondering how many maxtraxs can you fit in it two or four. Thanks
I do not mate. It is a Drifta unit and it only fits two trax. I searched high and low for a four banger unit and could not find one anywhere. If you find one (not custom made) let me know as I would be interested 😎👍
Curious... Did u check out the 270 Awnings from Destination 4WD up in Cairns. They have that square edge at the rear as wheel but they are expensive though.. Have a look on their website and see what u think
I have an awning specifically for that purpose. It is detailed in this video. Cheers Bundutec Bundutop Roof Top Tent and Bunduawn Awning Long Term Review th-cam.com/video/QA1tK9408aA/w-d-xo.html
I got to the bit where you detached the ‘unpaid advertising patch’. I smiled because I follow the same sentiment. Usually though, there’s no cloth patch, so I spray paint over the offending brand name/s, so I’m not advertising for free. Nice awning. Maybe you can use the offending advertising to patch the old awning? Cheers. 👍🏻🙏🦘

Could not agree more mate, labels gotta go. Thanks for sharing your experience 😎👍
Great vid mate, i ended up getting the 30 Second Awning. Love it! Your new awning will be my next when the time comes. Cheers for sharing, Terry 👍
All good mate, enjoy the trips with your setup. Cheers😎👍
Neat awning. Nice new wheels too!
That’s the subject of a future video😉👍
Looks like you found an awning that meets all your needs.
Yep sure did. Using now on my trip into the Kimberley 😎👍
Terry put a big JAFFA sticker where you pulled their brand off!😅
Now there’s an idea mate😎👍

Hey Terry thats a great awning. You didn't mention how much it weighs though. I bet it's heavy
According to Bundatec's website, depending on which size, it's 22-23kg.
Yes mate, it’s heavy. I would have put it at around 25kg but you’ve got the official number😎👍

No, I did not👍
It’s a pity they don’t install any decent lights. That would just finish it off as a complete package
Agree mate😎👍
These Awnings should have a tunnel to your rooftop tent , so you are undercover getting out of bad and down without getting soaked .🤷♂️
I have an awning specifically for that purpose. It is detailed in this video. Cheers
