Given the high damages in the updated quests now, it is getting harder to harder to play rage slash before fxxked up by the monsters. Yet TCS is also hard to find chances to play. GS is getting in trouble now.
Nice run! First time I see a run with greatsword in Rise, it feels a bit similar to world but also different. May I ask how your palamute and felyne put him to sleep 2 times ? I've had them equiped with para weapon but they never did paralyze a monster...
That is using the Rage slash, the wire bug optional replacement for the True Charge Slash. You can only change direction on the third strike of the Rage slash combo, but it of course does less damage than true charge without any damage tanking buffs.
I'm only a noob mh but GS is my main. I think his build requires the 2 additional slots for crit boost, and his talisman was 3, 2 deco slots, don't think he's particularly after the quick sheath. Still a good talisman all things considered (better for LS).
You need to get the scroll from the shrine in the Buddy Plaza (you either need to beat magnamalo or every quest in village - don't remember which of the two)

defense up 7 can make u live and atk back, now it's in my build and works great.

You want pets to have status attack up skill, this increases the chances of the status. You can assign this and others at the buddy pole

It’s one of the great sword switch skill, I think its called rage slash. You can aim the third attack to any position. :)
Why do you have a QS talisman bro? Did u used for the slot,?,
QS is great for Great- and Longsword. It received big buff and helps with repositioning.
