I was thinking the same thing, I like Robert Hight but just can’t get that excited about him. I’ve followed Stevie Fast for a long time and really like him as a driver and a person. He Reminds me of John Force back in the 80’s.

I used to love watching the Alchy funny cars when I was a kid. Several of them used to come to my old local outlaw track at Hudson NC and match race. That track was dark and narrow with a wall almost to the headers on one lane, and a steep dirt bank by the other. Wondered how they made it all the way down the track most times. Id say winning first time out of the gate is a good start man. Best of luck.

Hell yeah!! Somehow I missed that you're going to be doing this! I cannot wait to see the performances that you guys will be able to pull off running alcohol funny car! You being a talented driver and your team being next level with talents, I see no reason why you cannot learn all three of your cars and just absolutely dominate! When people have to pick between Pro Mod and any of the alcohol classes that usually could promod because you can run way more races, but if you're doing NHRA Pro Mod, drag radial and or Pro extreme type stuff and alcohol funny car, you guys have a team that can do all three, no problem! 🤘🤘🤘 I want to see a 4 in an alcohol funny car, lol.. we all know it's possible in the dragster classes with her being injected in Nitro or screw blown methanol but most of the guys, as Randy Meyer has said to me, they go out and run way too fast and then the NHRA adjust rules and it costs people time and money and everything else... but since the Big Show cars run to a thousand foot, it's kind of irrelevant it the top alcohol classes go sub 5 Second in the quarter in my opinion. There will be and is people that help the dragster guys and the funny car guys stay competitive when they get lost and those people know who they are out there:-) ANYWAY, babbling away here but I can't wait to see what you guys can do in this class! and hey, if you need an extra crew guy, don't worry I'm free! :-) :-) I have worked on everything but pretend I know nothing so I can be taught by those I work with 😁 LOL, I was laughing to myself and thought I would just throw that out there, since I've gotten for jobs in drag racing from just talking to teams as a fan all the way to big show Nitro jobs by resume, and it made me laugh at the thought of getting asked for a resume or something via TH-cam, lol, so whay not say it seriously and jokingly in the same breath, lol KTR all the way!! 😊🤘🤘
Steve you are doing a great job for your family first then for your self in the sport as a very smart driver hang in there for now but you’re next move will be for sure a top full funny car driver. (as my previous comment said, I'll be a crew guy, its been too long and besides, I've gotten hired in about every conceivable way, so why not make a comment on TH-cam!? 😂😁🤘 Awesome driving job man and you are SPOT on, the alcohol classes, whether converter or clutch- the driver matters A LOT and it's one thing tjat has always made me love the alcohol ranks (my first gig was clutch on A/Fuel...well back when Morgan Lucas was still in A/Fuel! and yeah, drag racing has some of the best camaraderie of any sport! Especially back in the day at any division 4 race after the car was up for the night, haha 😋 Anyways, two long comments but it got me excited seeing this :)
