I am a 24 year old man. Who decided to watch avatar the last airbender on Netflix since I missed out as a kid. After it ended Netflix loaded up the first episode of She ra. I had 0 plan of watching this show since it looked really fluffy. Holy crap I’m glad I didn’t click away. I binged the whole show and felt so many emotions. I’m sad that it’s over and will probably rewatch it in a couple weeks. I watch anime and so far she ra is my favorite watched animation of the year lol. Love y’all stay shiny

I saw it exactly the opposite way. Adora is maybe the least likable main character I've seen in years. She never knows what she's doing but always pretends to, and is so uptight and moralistic. She seems like she is trying to be relatable but isn't at all. It's totally fine though, everything else about the show more than makes up for these flaws.
I think it's less dumb at times and more that's she kinda bad at improvising. She seems at her best when she has some time to plan things out, but sometimes her lack of self worth can impact her reasoning. On top of that, she is VERY impulsive soooo

I'm definitely gonna miss the show, and I would NOT be mad about some sort of spin off sequel thingy, but honestly the ending was just spot on and I'm scared the whole thing will only go downhill if they try to add more now for the fans
"Yeah Adora concentrate" is my favorite moment from the show. It's funny, but it's also the moment where Catra being on the same side as everyone else is normalized. It's not a thing for our main cast anymore, and so we know she won't be a villain anymore and we can truly love her like the characters do
I love how getting an ancient magical power doesn't give her the brains to use it. She-Ra is just the mantle; Adora just happens to be a big muscly dork.

I gotta say, Adora really is one of the biggest draws to this show. She's just so unusual for a protagonist. She's logical, not too good with emotions, she's the muscle of her group which is reeeeeaalllly unusual for shows. It's just...nice. It's really nice to see something different. I usually don't like or relate to main characters in shows but She ra is definitely an exception. I LOVE Adora. She's everything I like in the main character heroic and brave but also ridiculous lol
Whats so interesting about Adora is that she isn't unintelligent, she's just impulsive. She isn't bad at fighting, she just gets put in REALLY stressful circumstances. She was pretty competent leading people and fighting without She-Ra, my headcannon is that She-Ra is so much bigger and stronger that it takes her a while to adjust to the form- thats why she seems so clumsy. Not to mention her primary weapon was a bo-staff, while there are some similarities to a sword- they obviously aren't the same- hence why Adora seems so bad with it at first. I really like how they give Adora meaningful flaws without making her out to be incompetent or unlikable.
Bow putting the binoculars in her hand then giving the thumbs up is either proof that he knows her very very well by this point and is just confirming it or that is one of the most low key 4th wall breaks I've ever seen basically saying "I got this" or "All is good" to the audience.
Adora is such an underrated character. Everybody is just, Catra, Catra... I wish Adora got more attension. And she isn't dumb, she is just, simple. There is beauty in simplicity, you know...
I hated catra a first and at the end I would die for her because of her relationship with adora. Also out of context my favourite character is Scorpia because just- she is adorable
It really is to see a protagonist that's a badass, or some emotionless tough guy. I love how she's both a badass and a good ball. She doesn't even know what she's doing half the time but it makes her more relatable. One of the many things that I like about this show.
I've never watched She-Ra but I know two things: 1. Adora is a disaster 2. "I didn't know being a princess was contagious" is possibly the best thing I've ever heard Edit: I have now watched She-Ra all the way through and MY GOD I had no idea how right I was (though literally everything that comes out of Drunk Adora's mouth is a close second for the best thing I've ever heard)
Adora's and Catra's voice actresses are the reason I finished this show. They just MADE the characters in such a big way, especially the way they portrayed Catra's nuance and Adora's sense of humor

I'm definitely gonna miss the show, and I would NOT be mad about some sort of spin off sequel thingy, but honestly the ending was just spot on and I'm scared the whole thing will only go downhill if they try to add more now for the fans

"Yeah Adora concentrate" is my favorite moment from the show. It's funny, but it's also the moment where Catra being on the same side as everyone else is normalized. It's not a thing for our main cast anymore, and so we know she won't be a villain anymore and we can truly love her like the characters do

I gotta say, Adora really is one of the biggest draws to this show. She's just so unusual for a protagonist. She's logical, not too good with emotions, she's the muscle of her group which is reeeeeaalllly unusual for shows. It's just...nice. It's really nice to see something different.

Whats so interesting about Adora is that she isn't unintelligent, she's just impulsive. She isn't bad at fighting, she just gets put in REALLY stressful circumstances. She was pretty competent leading people and fighting without She-Ra, my headcannon is that She-Ra is so much bigger and stronger that it takes her a while to adjust to the form- thats why she seems so clumsy.
Not to mention her primary weapon was a bo-staff, while there are some similarities to a sword- they obviously aren't the same- hence why Adora seems so bad with it at first.
I really like how they give Adora meaningful flaws without making her out to be incompetent or unlikable.
Bow putting the binoculars in her hand then giving the thumbs up is either proof that he knows her very very well by this point and is just confirming it or that is one of the most low key 4th wall breaks I've ever seen basically saying "I got this" or "All is good" to the audience.

It really is to see a protagonist that's a badass, or some emotionless tough guy. I love how she's both a badass and a good ball. She doesn't even know what she's doing half the time but it makes her more relatable. One of the many things that I like about this show.
I've never watched She-Ra but I know two things:
1. Adora is a disaster
2. "I didn't know being a princess was contagious" is possibly the best thing I've ever heard
