I am 14 year old boy and I always study, learn and memorize my subjects of the school but my FATHER said that “All work but no play makes a Jack a dull boy.” It means that if you work hard constantly and do take break or enjoy something, you become sick person. My favorite one is this that I mentioned.

We do NOT use "regret" + infinitive for this meaning. Another example situation: I shout at my friend. Later, I regret it. We say: "I regret shouting at my friend" (correct) We do not say: "I regret to shout at my friend" (wrong) Andrew
