I've got 10 mulberry trees around my house. They can go from seedling to 12 ft plus tall within 5 years. The biggest problem is getting them when they're ripe before they fall because it's so time consuming. But the berries are delicious!

What I used to do when gathering them for wine was spread out a tarp and shake the limbs with a long pole. You can gather a 3 gal pail full in no time!
